The black rice is so delicious and when compared to another brand I tried in the past, is far superior in color, texture, and nutty flavor. It is also very versatile and can be used in so many dishes. And with all these virtues it has the added bonus of being healthier than white rice. Its a win win!

Black rice is so healthful, nutty, chewy with lots of beneficial anthocyanins, which help with inflammation and has antioxidants. Great flavor!

This is delicious and did not last in my cabinet. My husband and I were looking for a healthier version of rice and this did the trick. While we don't use it as a replacement for all of our rice dishes, it's a nice alternative.

The color is neat, tastes good, nuttery then normal rice, but I probably wouldn't buy it again. You can buy 25 lbs of rice (20 times as much!) at Costco for 50% more then the cost of this tiny container.

Got this after reading the nutritional value of black rice. Wasn’t sure what to expect as I’ve never had it before. It’s quite tasty! Not as soft as white or brown rice but, not as crunchy as wild rice. Easy to cook. (I did soak it for 30 minutes before hand. Not sure if that’s necessary but, it worked out well ) Quality seemed fine.

Delicious, full bodied!

The jar is so much small than their other products. I saw those reviews stating that - and I only half believed them. But it had a 30% discount so I tried it. The rice might have some coloring added. The water turned brownish red instantly. It tasted fine, but not so much better than other Rice select products that have brown and red rices. It looks cooler in the jar than it does in the pan or on the plate. No special textures such as the Texmati rice that has brown, black, red and white rices.

I was so happy to find this rice. As I am diabetic, black rice is better for me. It goes a long way. Happy with this purchase.
