Quality construction; GREAT “staying power”
Yes, patience essential for the initial placement. Subsequent placements become easier. These adhere very well, lasting ~15 days, despite summer heat and daily showers. I prefer the clear covers so they are less apparent under lightweight clothing. No skin irritation noted (pale skin). Adhesive removal pads or GooGone eassily removes any residue. NOTE: While appreciate the foresight, convenience & cleanliness of each provided in an individual Ziplock-type bag (to maintain cleanliness/avoid backing strips from peeling away while in depths of swim bags/ wallets/purses, probably), it does seem a bit costly to package them as such (maybe individual, thin waxed paper packets?). Highly recommend for adhesion with minimal residue, inconspicuousness when in place, value for money and excellent application guidance.

Easy to apply, stays on, is waterproof
This product, Lexcam for Dexcom G7 (Clear) is compatible and very similar to the Dexcom G6’s over patch (which was purchased / supplied by Dexcom). This clear over patch by Lexcam is easy to apply, sticks well, and is totally waterproof. Very pleased with this item.

The adhesive lasts longer than the 10 days a sensor is working
Works perfectly with Dexcom 7 sensors

Stay on; Protect well; Itchy; Overall are better than what comes with Dexcom (stelo)
-first one tried worked great and had zero issues; lasted entire 15 days with no problems-second one had some issues, not staying on but ripping by the sensors pad and it would bubble up and tear on sides; next one did the same thing-but never came off, protects extremely well and still way better than what comes with the sensors-so easy to put on and get in place and really don't notice they are there at all-they get VERY itchy though to the point you want to rip it off sometimes, that is becoming a problem and only reason didn't give 5 stars. Could just be my skin perhaps though-overall they are excellent and should work extremely well for many-I leave them on until around 8-10 days then put the Dexcom shipped on on top to keep it from pulling away by the sensor as it has been and that works great so far-hate that the glue leaves that sticky colored spot but is what it is-definitely would recommend though take notice if they itch a lot might need to try another brand. Am only on my 4th one and 50% of the time the itching was bad but got through it

Stays put!
These work really well! One patch lasts the whole 10 day life of the CGM. Do I wish they were fun colors and patterns? Of coarse I do. But I have tried those and they just don't work very well. I definitely prefer for my sensor to be protected and know that it's secure.

Do yourself a favor....
and just throw the overpatch from Dexcom away. They don't last; they leave a nasty residue on your arm, they don't resist water well - they just don't work. These DO work - they are amazing. Waterproof, clear and durable. Actually a bit of a struggle to get off but that's because they work so well. Never looking back - these are my go-to from now on.

Very difficult to remove
Now, does it stick on? 100000%. And, that is the problem. This is like superglue and so thin that it is very easy to apply flat to your skin. It looks like a second skin. Downside is that only makes it that much more stuck to your skin. I only wore it one day because by weird coincidence, it was one day to switching out the sensor. But, I needed a patch so tried this one since it arrived the day prior. Fast forward to today, it was DIFFICULT to get this off. Even with adhesive remover, it was so stuck on the skin and painful to remove. Doing this alone? Forget that and have someone help you. I cannot even imagine how stuck on this would be after 14 days. It left gummy residue that I need to figure out how to get off. And, I am left with a red mark. Whether it was an allergic reaction to the adhesive or just the aftermath of me trying to remove the patch, I don’t know. I won’t be finding out again. In the trash this went. I’d rather deal with the cloth like patches that may come off after a few days but at least I am not going through what I went with this product. And, yes, it will remove your sensor when removing if the patch even touches the small stick on surrounding the sensor.
