Teak Wooden Spatula for Cooking Spoon Non Toxic Kitchen Utensil Spurtle

This has become my go-to spatula when cooking. It’s sturdy, smooth, and works really well on all my pans without scratching them. I like that it feels natural and comfortable to use, and it’s great for flipping, stirring, and scraping. Simple but very useful kitchen tool—I use it all the time now.

I got this because I wanted a fully flat spatula for mixing. I was surprised when I received this that the size is so manageable. I was half expecting something somewhat unwieldy, but this fit very nicely on my utensil rack, and fits easily on a hook. It isn't excessively thick or heavy. It doesn't obstruct the space or feel in the way, which was main concern with it before buying. The price for a durable teak spatula is excellent. Excellent value, it seems to have finished properly, but like all wood utensils, it will need occasional waxing to keep it protected from bacteria and drying out. It is thin enough for delicate work, and strong enough to handle a weighty steak. I am very with it, and it looks beautiful in my kitchen.

Love using this. It's sturdy, easily breaks up mince/ground meats, flips fillets well . . . and it's beautiful. The only downside is that aside from lifting a fillet from the pan to plate, it isn't useful for serving. It's narrow and flat so it doesn't work for scooping or serving. I hand wash it and don't put it in the dishwasher and it's held up very well. I oil my wood cutting board once a month, and when I finish and still have an oiled paper towel at hand, I give it a wipe down too.

Bought one as a gift for Christmas, but decided I wanted one as well. I am glad I did. This spatula has become our most used cooking utensil. It holds up to rough cast iron while not damaging nonstick. The wood is very hard. It has kept a pretty sharp edge. The flat, tapered shape is nice as you can grip it in many ways and feel in control. Also, being flat, it is very stable balancing on the edges of pots.

This wooden spatula has been an amazing addition to our kitchen. Removes concerns over micro-plastics and looks great in our utensil holder. Easy to clean but definitely need to soak or wash right away as food can get stuck to the wood.
