This is a great product although not a cure all it has helped my Shihtzu a lot. His cough has been reduced tremendously. He now has an occasional cough maybe once or twice a day when it was quite frequent before I started giving him this product. It certainly does help soothe his throat. I do recommend this product.

There are not enough words in the English dictionary to describe how incredibly grateful I am for this product. Our senior pup, who is 15, has a collapsed trachea. Recently it got so much worse, constant hard, honking coughing all day and all night. I thought my husband and I were going to have to make a decision for him that we didn’t want to make. I started digging into natural ways to help him and came across this product. From the very first dose, we saw huge improvement! He literally coughed once, maybe twice. We give him 4 doses a day and he may cough 3-4 times in a 24 hour period. It’s a Godsend and if you’re looking for something natural to help your pup, look no further! This is it! We will never go without. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

I have to say i am very surprised with this product..My senior terrier was coughing/gagging so may times a day that i was very worried i wouldnt be able to give her any relief…This syrup has made a remarkable difference in just a few days .lI pray it keeps working for my girl..

This product may seem overpriced, but for me it is very well worth it. My 15-year-old chihuahua has tracheal collapse and already has prescription-level medication. However, his cough significantly worsens at night. In his case, prescription sedative meds only worsen his cough as well. I gave this a shot expecting very little to no improvement, but OMG it works! He likes the flavor and takes it willingly, and within a couple of minutes laid his little head down in his bed and slept soundly all night. This was the first uninterrupted night of sleep I've had in months as well. I hate to say it, but when I woke up in the morning NOT to his coughing, I was worried and quickly checked him - he was gently snoring and still sound asleep *whew*! I'm so pleased - I use it only at night because his coughing is not so bad during the day and I want the syrup to continue to be effective for him.

So, I have read the reviews of this product with many saying their dogs cough has stopped. I have had no such luck at all. Listed as a Trachea soother makes me wonder how it stops a cough according to the reviews. This product is honey so it may or may not soothe irritated trachea. The price is steep to say the least but was worth trying. As mentioned, this product did not help my pet. Please PawHealer keep trying to help our pets the best way you can.

Bought this for my Grandmas dog that was having issues with his esophagus. Before she was able to get him into a vet, we tried this. It was great for the first couple days. Seemed to cost her dogs throat. He would cough a lot and sounded miserable. This did seem to calm him down and soothe him for a few days. Only a bandaid didn’t fix the problem. He did have to go to vet and be placed on medications.

It's working for my Shih Tzu toto he had a collapse trinkia and it caused a lot of irritation and swelling, but with this medicine it completely cleared up. He's not even coughing as much. I think as long as we keep it up, he'll be good. If not better, the cough, almost immediately went away
