In reference to previous reviews, yes, the arm is somewhat short. It's approx 16 inches. BUT this is perfect for my desk use. I would not want extra length. The magnification is amazing. I do small crafting - painting, jewelry - and this is amazing. It's exactly what I needed. The lighting is great AND adjustable. After looking for this in places such as Harbor Freight and seeing the prices, I am so impressed with this model. GREAT purchase for any hobby or crafter.

Bought this light for my husband since he likes to put together models and trinkets and has a hard time reading the writing on the pieces. This light, along with the magnification really does the trick. It's not too large and can easily be folded away. Compared to some of the other lights out there with magnification, this one is good value for the price!

Light works great you might want to know more about the area and distance it will view that's my bad I have no clue. Wish i done the reasearch needed prior to buying it but it's exactly as described love the light.

Nice bright light, heavy, sturdy. Magnifications is great. But the flexible neck part is not as long as the photos make it look. Sitting on the couch, it does not extend over to where my hands are even when squeezing myself into the corner and attaching the clip to a little table right next to the couch.

The cord on this lamp is pretty long for what I need it for. The light could be brighter but it'll suffice. The clamp on the lamp is quite tight and holds really well. I have had it pop off a time or two but that could've been my fault for not having it on correctly. All and all I'd say I would recommend this lamp to someone else who's also on a budget as I am.

The media could not be loaded.  When I could get this to work, it was bright and useful; however, I had two defective units in a row. There seems to be a poor connection in the USB cable as SOMETIMES I could get it to work, but most of the time, it won't turn on or flickers. Shame because it's otherwise a nice product. Stable and bright.

This magnifying light is WONDERFUL! I have been able to do my DIY diamond art without my eyes blurring. It has given me the ability to speed up my bead placement because I can see the individual spaces more clearly. HIGHLY recommend if you do work with tiny things.
