This is a nice sewing kit for beginners. The directions are illustrated and easy to understand. My daughter was easily able to sew & stuff the body of the koala bear. There are 14 accessories that you can also make. However, they are tiny and my daughter needed help with these clothing pieces. Finished, the Kolas is adorable with her heart earrings, necklace and little dog wearing a coat & collar.

Gave to 6 yr old as a gift. She is crafty but needed a little help to get finished but did most of it. Someone older could definitely do it.

My 7yo and I did this kit together over the course of an afternoon. She's been fascinated by watching me do other handicrafts so this was a good introduction to hand sewing for her. There's not so many pieces that it's overwhelming and the finished product is cute and fun to play with. She needed quite a bit of supervision in the beginning before getting the hang of it, though she still needed help with starting and finishing threads. Overall, she was ridiculously proud of making something that she could play with!I love the little bag it came with! It seems like such a silly thing to comment on, but it's so nice having something to keep all the pieces together included in the kit.

When my daughter unboxed her kit she realized the koala face piece was missing. She is super disappointed, but going through reviews it seems common for there to be a missing piece. She is super disappointed.

My granddaughter loved this but was so disappointed that she didn’t get the doggie , baby koala etc. I had done a return on it but she wanted to keep the koala she’d already sewn. So I will not be returning the defective set. I got the replacement very quickly. Maybe you can give me a discount on the replacement set for the missing parts on the first one. Thank you.

TLDR: For the price, this is a prefect activity for kids!Got this for our nieces to play around with when they came to visit (10 and 8) and they enjoyed it thoroughly. Took them about two hours to get through the projects and they loved it. This is definitely a great memory maker! The material is exactly the quality you’d expect for a kids learn to sew toy, so prefect for this project and the amount this cost. Overall, would easily get this again as a gift!
