I bought this arcade unit as Amazon Resale and as such it came with a few nicks and dings but the unit worked well and is a ton of fun. Instantly became the greatest Grandpa ever. Assembly wasn't as tough as some of the reviews called out, but it does take some time. Plan on an hour or hour and a half to assemble. Take your time and don't read too much into the photo directions. Setting up the WiFi was a snap as well.This arcade unit gives you the same feeling as the quarter fed machines of the 80s. Just without the feeding of quarter after quarter. So... it is not coineverous. LOL. The booting is a little slow but well worth the wait. The game selections are too similar to consider them as more than one game, but there is enough here to entertain for hours. There is a two-player mode for each game so you can challenge others. All-in-all, this is a great value and I can't see the grandkids getting tired of this too quickly.

My husband originally purchased a different model, including these same games, as a Christmas gift for me. Its now April and we still play something on it just about every day. We have ours in the corner of our L-shaped dining room next to the pool table, and it even looks like a nice piece of furniture. We've since purchased 2 of this model as birthday gifts for our adult children, which they both loved. Nothing to dislike, just 2 things to be aware of: 1/ It cannot be put in plain packaging and is extremely heavy. If you're buying it for someone in your household consider shipping it to a neighbor or being home when it arrives. My husband had a lot of hassle because I almost saw it sitting in the porch, and then he hadn't planned ahead to get something ready to cover and hide it. He ended up somehow lugging it upstairs by himself. 2/ It takes a while to put together. He took about 3 hours, our daughter (who of course has younger eyes) took 2. With hindsight I think he would have taken the afternoon off work, put it together there and then and covered it with a blanket.

I admit I was a little leery about purchasing this at first due to price and having to put it together. But I’m sure glad I bought it! It is seriously awesome in our basement! It’s taller than I expected - literally just right for us! The graphics and colors are terrific, and the games are a lot of fun! I did have help putting it together, but they were able to complete it in an hour or a little less. It’s simple to use and has the best nostalgic look to it! All around great purchase!

Exactly as I had hoped, games are just like I remembered when I was a kid, build was easy enough. I put it together my self, and though it looked daunting, I just followed the instructions step by step and put it together without any issues. Directions are just so-so, but good enough for me to do it perfectly. From opening the box to plugging it in took about 4-5 hours. Games all play perfectly without issue. The entire game console is a bit smaller than the original arcade games, the screen and sound are great and game play feels just like in an arcade. Total build quality and playability are very high quality. I am 6’2” and no issues seeing and playing all games. So many fond childhood memories are evoked each time I play these games! A must have if you have grandchildren!

Nostalgia for me and new experience for the grandkids. They like it so in that respect it is a win.Now for me, the assembly was not bad, I did it myself in a little under 2 hours. The game worked and looks great. The biggest complaint for me is the joystick lag while playing. It's not bad but is noticeable compared to my distant memory of playing in my younger years. We'll now wait to see how it holds up.

So far so good! Super easy & fun to set up & its so cute.It looks great & it's gonna look even cooler as I finish my retro 80s room. I love it for the Pacman look but I mostly play Dig Dug on it. Lol

Have considered getting some version of this forever — from the MAME emulator all the way back to an original-used legacy quarter machine. Im on day 6 and Im happy with the purchase.Assembly took a bit (I think I logged just over 90 minutes) but wasn’t difficult. The instructions are great — pay close attention to the images to avoid placing a piece backwards! I think my history of IKEA construction probably helped! The whole thing goes together with a simple Phillips head screw driver.The cabinet is just a bit smaller than what my 40y old memories recall but it’s a nice size and feels like a real arcade machine from my youth. Modern LCD and electronics mean that the whole ‘gaming’ bit is basically a large iPad but the cabinet is heavy enough that it doesn’t matter. Buttons and joy stick seem solid and the gameplay is about perfect.Im sure there were instructions but I didnt spend anytime with them and had to lookup how to reset back to the main gaming menu — press player one button for a few seconds. There is some online thing available to share scores or maybe play head to head … who knows. I did allow a firmware upgrade to download.

This game set took a couple of hours to assemble, but the build quality was outstanding. Every screw hole lined up perfectly, every piece fit exactly where it was supposed to go. There was no hardware missing, and the 21-step assembly instructions were incredibly accurate and easy to understand. The game console is sturdy and heavy. Recommend that you secure it to the wall behind it using the provided anchors, to avoid children tipping it over.
