No More Tantrums

I was hoping to use this book to teach my little one that having tantrums, whenever she can't have whatever she wants isn't very nice (there are better ways to communicate her frustrations whenever she is feeling a bit frustrated - I'm listening and always here to help), and that sometimes we say no for good reason (teach them to stop and listen and be more understanding and accepting of things - unfortunately they can't always have whatever they want).This is an important life lesson! They need to learn that sometimes the answer is no, and that sometimes that is also OK, and how to deal with it appropriately.But, I feel like this book just illustrates to either give them something they do want, try and distract with something else, or just to leave them until they're done having their tantrum (which are the majority of the time not options, it's infact the problem).I feel if you keep giving them things to make them happy then they'll keep having tantrums because it gets them whatever they want.Maybe it's just a difference in opinion on how to deal with tantrums, you might disagree ofcourse, and I could've just checked if the content suited what I was looking for, but the problem is most online shops don't let you look inside the book.P. S. The tips to the parents on the bottom are great! I just don't feel like the illustrations to the little ones teach the same thing and that's what I bought the book for (my daughter).But, the point of my review is: if you are hoping to buy this book with my same intentions as I had, I am so sorry to say, but this book just isn't worth the buy.Also, there are very few pages (only 5).My child does enjoy flipping the flaps back and forth though, but there are a lot of books that do the same

Not the best story out of this series of books and there’s far more flaps than other interactive bits. However some nice sentiments about getting your angry out and seems to have made an impression on my toddler.
