"Morning Stretch" -- Mountain Laurel Branch Wall Lamp

This one of a kind handcrafted wall lamp is made from a mountain laurel branch from the Appalachian Mountains. It measures 33" high to the top of the socket, is 24" wide, 11" deep (8-3/4" from socket centerline to wall) and is shown with a 13" lampshade (not included). The cord is completely hidden within the wood except for a short section on the back (see picture), which allows the plug to be cut off and the wire be pulled out for direct wiring (a qualified electrician should do this, or you can simply use it as is and plug the supplied cord into a standard receptacle) . The wood underneath the clear shellac finish shows the natural patina of weathering from being exposed to the elements before I found it. I call this lamp "Morning Stretch" because the shape reminds me of somebody stretching in the morning. Recommended for 60W max bulb and 16" diameter maximum lampshade (13" shade shown available as option). Made with all UL listed electrical components including a deluxe solid brass lamp socket with turn knob instead of the more common cheap stamped socket. Mounts with two hidden screws (included) in keyhole slots. For indoor use only. One of a kind, signed and dated by the artist.
