These readers have helped my mom, who has cataracts, be able to read again because they are a higher strength than I could find in the local stores. She is very happy with them!

These reading glasses do not function. They are in focus only when my nose is two inches from the page and even then magnification is much less than advertised.

The glasses are just as described.

Quality was expected for the price. Being previously worn with grease on parts is not. I washed them in warm, soapy water so I guess that fixes it. Still.

I saw several 1-star reviews about their being heavy and a focal point of only a few inches. Well, what do you expect? If you want a longer focal point, you'll need binoculars, not single lenses sitting less than an inch from your eye. Of course they're heavy, it takes a thick lens to give you 7.5X magnification and they're glass, not plastic, which I consider a plus. You could start fires with them, lol! With this much weight, you better handle them with care. I can see how it would be easy to break the frames, which are just fine for $10 glasses, if you want better ones go to an optician and spend more money.
