Would be perfect if latch was longer
These scanners are great but wish the latch that allows you to connect it to an ipad was larger. Can only open wide enough to connect if the ipad is horizontal.

I waited to late to use it. JUNK!
I wish I used this right after I purchased it 2 months ago, but I didn't open the box to start scanning the books I had assembled, and absolutely nothing works! I have now been working on it for 2.5 hours, much more time than I can afford, and not only is everything a waste of time, but the problem-solving steps require multiple steps of uploading new scans, and the directions at the end of the pamphlet become very confusing. Are they talking about what you should do, or are they talking about something that is a problem to avoid? Unclear. I have worked on each of these levels with one thing failing, coming back on, another thing failing, and so forth, including Power On/Off; no LED lights of any kind, stopped scanning, would not upload a scan to a notepad page on my Android, or my computer, and then a number of combinations of the above. Yes, it is fully charged! This review is my experience with this particular model I received in the mail. Clearly, damaged. I will not buy another one, but I would have exchanged it for a new one just in case . . . Good luck

Absolutely love this
Works perfectly and everything you need to set it up is included. I'm able to keep my 2nd hand free to sort through inventory while scanning away. Love this and highly recommend it

Scan it up!
I’d say this is a decent little scanner, considering what it is. Most features and apps nowadays can utilize a cell phone camera in place of an actual scanner, but if you need one, this isn’t a bad alternative. The construction appears to be fairly decent quality, and The scanning speed is on par with other units the same quality. I would also say that the scanning accuracy appears to be fairly good, and we haven’t had any issues in that area whatsoever. The scanner isn’t overly heavy, and won’t create terrible fatigue if you have to hold onto it for a while. So, all things considered I’d say this is a decent little unit.

Practical, handy, responsive
This has been a fantastic addition to our small business. Utilizing existing barcodes to allow inventory control has helped us organize more efficiently. Bluetooth connectivity is simple and straightforward, allowing digital coding with ease, which we are now experimenting between spreadsheets, inventory control apps, and POS systems to find the best fit for us. Next step for us is generating our own inventory barcodes. We had mixed results with specific site and web searches, sometimes providing accurate product results, but often not or incorrect. However, it was never a problem reading the codes, just searching them. Battery life seems great and it fits phones and tablets well for versatility and portability.

What a great way to to add a FAST barcode scanner to your phone, perfect for retail!
These days all phones can scan 1D and 2D barcodes with your phone camera, but the process is as slow as taking a picture, and even then you have to copy the contents into your clipboard and then paste the contents in whatever app and field you need it. This isn't going to fly in a retail setting, or even a work from home business, where you need to scan barcodes fast. That's where this clip-on barcode scanner comes in.The scanner clips to the back of your phone, and once you pair it to Bluetooth, it acts like a keyboard and any barcode you scan will be typed out into whatever app is open and has focus. There is an accompanying app that you can download, but when I opened it and tapped the screen it immediately opened a sign-in page for PayPal. That is pretty suspect, so I uninstalled the app and confirmed the scanner operates just fine without it, which is my suggestion for anyone who purchases this barcode scanner. It charges quickly, has a white LED to illuminate the target barcode, and has a red laser indicator to show you where the scanner is aimed at.This is a nice inexpensive way to get yourself a barcode scanner without spending over $1000K for a dedicated mobile device.

Scans my Code 128 barcodes just fine
I started using this to scan my Code 128 barcodes during my meetings with clients on all of my samples. The meeting lasts about 3-4 hours and it works perfectly during the entire meeting. The scanner has a small flashlight on it so it lights up the barcode if in a dark room. There are 3 buttons in total to activate the scanner depending on which position is most comfortable for the user to press when scanning a barcode. The scanner mounts on my phone (Samsung S21+) perfectly via a retractable clamp but please be aware that I'm using a pretty slim case cover. The scanner connects pretty easily with my phone via Bluetooth and connects every time as soon as the scanner is turned on.
