RayMar Wet Painting Carriers - 8" x 10" Carrier

Please, be cautious when ordering this product. The photo on Amazon shows something different and NOT a painting carrier. The carrier appeared to be a little smaller then needed - standard canvas panels 8x10” from Blick Art Materials do not fit inside the carrier. The carrier is made of very stiff plastic and has sharp corners. It is hard to hold the flip up to insert the canvas panel. I tried to insert clean panel of different brand (Masters Touch) 8x10” - it barely fits in, and it is very hard to get it out. I wonder if I can ever do it with wet painting.

This wet panel carrier is just what I needed for quick plein air expeditions. Not only do I keep my freshly painted panels inside, but I bring my new canvas panels as well, that way I don’t paint more than I can carry.

This canvas carrier was much sturdier than I imagined it would be. I use it in a backpack with a wooden pochade box up against it and it has held up nicely. It doesn't hold lots and lots of paintings, but as many as you could realistically create in a single painting session.

Perfect for holding 3 8x10 panels and it fits in my backpack which was the main reason I bought it.

This lightweight carrier is great to carry your wet and dry panels to Plein Air paint.

a lightweight way to carry wet panels. If only it was adjustable to hold standard canvas occasionally.

Great. As advertised. Carries wet 8 X 10, 8 X 8 and 6 X 8 panels nicely.
