It’s Very Good And My Favorite Color

This cord did not work from the moment I received it.I tested it on several devices and power banks, and it did not work on any combination.I then tested the same devices and power banks with another cord, and the devices charged just fine.Below are photos of my kindle and a power bank with this cord and another cord. You can see that this (green) cord lights up, but the kindle is not charging (see upper right, red circle), whereas the other (blue) cord is lit up AND is charging the kindle (again, see upper right, red circle).

The media could not be loaded. Maybe I didn’t understand from the description [see included video], but this cable alternates lit threads providing a sort of animation. The animation itself is fast, I suspect to appear like energy going from the charger to the devices. Some may really love this feature, it does look cool. Unfortunately, I do not as it is very distracting, especially in darker environments. It’s so distracting, I could not imagine having it in a car at night! I wish the animation had been described more clearly. It only stated “LED lighting cycle can help you easily find your devices in dark.”I was expecting a glow as stated in the title and shown in the pictures. I wanted a lit cable to help find the cable in the dark, not hypnotize me with an animated light show! Likely I’ll send it back because it’s just too distracting and there’s no way to stop it. Otherwise, the cable appears to work well charging my devices, even my power-hungry iPad Pro. Although I haven’t timed how long it takes to charge compared to my original cable.Also of mention, all cables take a lot of stress next to the connectors, and there is no reinforcement to limit that stress on this cable. I could easily see this as a future failure point and I may need to add some tape or heatshrink tubing to help prevent damage from everyday use and to extend the cable’s life.
