Great cat8 cable. No signal loss going from router to pc which is about 12 meters away.Easy to tuck away. Also providing you let the cable reach room temperature before you use it it won't curl up in you you will be able to roll out it and lay it flatDefinitely recommend.

Well made and reliable network cable, the connection plugs fit well and click firmly, and the transfer speed is exactly what you'd expect. The standard sized cable allows easy management and wall pinning with clamps, and is a good product, but nothing to make it stand out in the host of other products the same

Although (as noted by others) this is quite a bit over-spec for my home computing needs, there is no harm in being as future-proof as possible. That, plus the white cable is less obtrusive against the skirting board in my home office meant that I selected this cable to replace the cat5 I had been using for one of my desktops' connection to the FTTP router and my BT 900Mbps service. The cable seems well constructed - a bit thicker than that which it replaced which is something to bear in mind if you have trunking, and feels quit soft, almost squishy. The connectors have a quality look and feel to them, nice and tight and fit well at either end - nice and secure. A speedtest showed only a minimal change to the speeds that I was previously achieving but this could well be just general variation rather than due to the cable, given the minimal load it is carrying vs the spec to which it is built. Now having two decent cables for my desktops plus my laptop on wifi, the main chokepoint is the router itself.
