Worked as needed and a good price
I bought this switch to replace the fancy capacitive switch in the rear emblem on my 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser (see photo with the Chrysler emblem). The switch on the underside of the emblem and is used to release the rear hatch to allow it to be opened by pulling up on the cavity in the emblem. The original switch had failed last year, and I replaced it with an OEM switch I got used from eBay. It worked fine, about a dozen times over the next year (We do not drive the PT Cruiser that often except for certain occasions). Since the OEM replacement switch was about $100 on the aftermarket, I did not want to waste that money again, so I bought this switch as a DIY replacement. I needed to route the wires into the car, to reach the connector for the old OEM switch, which meant taking off the inside hatch panels to drill through the inside surface of the emblem to fit the wires, and had to wire it into the mating connector in the car to make it work. I used the built-in double-faced adhesive to attach it to the underside of the emblem over the now defunct flat capacitive switch layer, so when reaching in, the fingers naturally depress the switch button (see the other photo, where the black side of the switch can just be seen at the top of the picture), completing the circuit and triggering the latch release. Since this is while applying outward pressure to the hatch via the emblem, the hatch naturally opens, so it can be done with one hand, like the original switch allowed. This switch has been in use for only about four months (late July 2025), and as stated, the car is not used often, and the hatch even less, but it is still working, and the adhesive has not come loose. Even if the adhesive were not sufficient, it would be a simple matter to use a bit of epoxy, or even superglue, to attach the switch in that position if needed. I cannot speak to the switch's durability when used frequently or in a high-stress location, or when left out in the weather, but it works sufficiently for my purposes, on a car not driven often and always garaged. It is, however, a suitable switch for replacing the failure-prone OEM switch on the back of the PT Cruiser.

It works well for garage open and closing a garage door.
Works well if you’re looking for the specific operation which is press and it makes a momentary contact only. I used it to open and close my garage door. Smaller than I anticipated but works well. Comes with an adhesive back.
