Really displeased.
I got this a few months ago in the hopes that it will alert me when my kid is in the car. It alerts me all right, all day and all night, when my kid is sitting on it or not. When it’s activated or not. I had to shut it off 3 times today alone and he was nowhere near his car seat or the device. I am really upset that this costs $100 when it is so unreliable.

So worth the peace of mind
My son and daughter-in-law both work and their 18-month-old goes to daycare part-time and is not always dropped off by the same parent. It would be so easy to be distracted and forget and leave the child in a hot car. These fit right in the car seat and will alarm to your phone if you forget, it's so worth the $99 for peace of mind

Wanted to love them
These literally connect and disconnect constantly even with the phone right there or while we are driving. It’s kind of annoying.

Sensitive
This is very sensitive to the point of inaccuracy. Also it’s what your child has to sit on and it’s not cushioned. Like sitting on a board

Great idea, terrible product!
Poor execution on technology - calls you nonstop to alert you you’ve left behind your child but did not. So obnoxious we used for half a day and immediately removed. Don’t waste your money!

Something you thought you never need
When I saw this item, I thought that I don’t need this but got it anyway. I know I wouldn’t forget my child in a normal day but what if there would come a time that you’re overwhelmed with something or in a hurry that you actually forgot your kid in the car, this is where this sensor would be most handy. It’s very easy to install and activates as soon as child is placed on the sensor. You will hear an audible sound and it will also send a prompt on your phone. We tried this with my husband staying with our son in the car and I’m away with my phone and definitely gave me a prompt saying that my child is in the car and after less than 5 minutes a loud alarm went off and not just a regular beep but a really loud one. This signals that child is still in the car then after snoozing the alarm and I’m still away from my car, the Doona number called me and I didn’t pick up so it called my husband’s phone. I can tell that this is very effective! Something that we’ll also get for out next baby for peace of mind. The only thing I can see negative is it’s very sensitive that if there’s a sippy cup or anything on top of it, it will detect it as your baby still being seated on the car seat like what happened to us. I just heard a loud alarm on my phone and deactivated it on the app which is no big deal. This is really a good order!

This could be amazing
I think this is a genius design and could save lives. As a Mom of six with a crazy busy life. It is my biggest fear in life that I could walk away from the car and forget a quiet toddler. I would buy this for my husband and my cars in a heartbeat. It is beyond sad that this gets such poor reviews and doesn’t seem to work well. Please please get this working right. You’re on to something amazing here!!!

Great idea, needs some tweaks
This is a great idea and awesome peace of mind if you have a little one. It’s so easy to get distracted, especially if you are out of a normal routine, and forget that it’s your day for daycare drop off. This seems like a great way to build in reminders and safeguards just in case. Hope I never run into a problem, but it’s nice to have a backup just in case. That said, this seems a little touchy to the point of annoyance. The connection is unreliable which makes it a little frustrating. The physical sensor and the app are both easy to install and use, and I think they can probably work through some of the bumps, so I think it has a lot of potential. Just not quite there yet.
