Just amazing!
I know not all strings suits everyone taste as also ukuleles but these strings are exactly what I was looking for! I have done a lot research on YouTube looking for the strings that would give me the sound I hoped for, tried Aquila and D’addario, no luck, they both didn’t give me the sound I was looking for and made my uke buzz! I was thinking already that was a problem with my uke, as I recently bought it and I was about to sell it. After listening to a selection of string on YouTube I decided to give this one a try, even though the guy I saw playing with it had a Pono, so I wasn’t expecting that impressive sound on my cheap uke. Wrong! Although, of course my uke will never sound like an expensive one it was such an improvement that I couldn’t believe on my ears! And the buzzing on my uke is just gone! I’m in love with these strings, I’ll never buy any other brand again!

Transformative!
I have two moderately cheap Stagg ukuleles, both mass produced in China, and both with solid spruce tops on laminated mahogany sides. They are not bad little instruments which play nicely and are very much warmer and more resonant than the budget all-laminate ones I have encountered in schools. I recently tried replacing basic nylon strings on the soprano with Aquila Nylguts, which instantly transformed it into a really loud, vibrant ukulele but, unfortunately, also messed up the intonation so that the A string was a good quarter tone sharp at the 12th fret; unplayable, to my ears. Having had a taste of the difference good quality strings can make, I ordered a set of Worths: the strings being double length, I fitted them to both my ukes (the other one is concert sized), and both now sing beautifully, probably as loud as the Aquilas but less boomy and with a lovely clarity and precision to the tone, so that each note rings cleanly and can be heard distinctly within a chord, while still bringing out the best of both the lower and higher frequencies, and all in between. I have been hankering after a more expensive ukulele, made entirely from solid timbers, but my reborn modestly price ukes now sound so great that I think I can happily hang on and take my time deciding on the next step.

String length is short for concert ukes!
I have fitted these strings previously. They give a bright ringing tone, but the string length that is supposed to fit concert ukes is too short for the C & E (longest strings out of the four). Whilst being very frugal with the bridge knot length of the C & E strings I only had about 20mm of string poking past the tuner posts of the C & E strings. The individual strings are marked & cannot be confused. This pack of strings are to be fitted to soprano & concert. The last time I fitteed these strings was to a tenor & concert from a tenor pack so there wasn't a problem. My uke is a Cordoba 24C & measures 490mm from bridge knot to C tuner post. I finally fitted thes strings but with some difficulty. I still have the other half of the set to fit at another time! Maybe tenor strings should be consisered, but why should concert owners be inconvenienced with short strings when soprano owners would have plenty of length from the same pack!

Good Strings But Beware Of Size
I have always liked using Worth brown strings and have them on most of my ukes. However, I would advise caution with these concert sized strings as it is difficult to cut 2 sets if your uke is a bit oversized. Best to measure before ordering

Look Good, Sound Good, a joy to play.
Love these fluorocarbon strings! apart from looking smart in brown they sound really good too. However, the thing I like most about these beauties is the playability. These strings are smaller and more uniform in diameter than nylon strings. and seem to require less finger pressure. They may seem a lot more expensive than nylon or Nylgut, but remember they are double length, so you have an instant set of spares.Once I heard these on my Kanile'a Concert Uke I fell in love with them, and now I have them on all four of my Ukes, including my Kala banjolele.

Excellent quality and great tone.
Still my favourite strings ... after 6 years. They appear expensive but you do get enough length to cut them in half which gives you 2 sets. If you have a soprano uke and tie them carefully then you get 3 sets .... which makes outstanding value.

Great strings.
I have used many brands of strings over the years and few will match up to Worth strings. When checking the harmonics and intonation they ring loud and clear on all strings with great sustain.Strings are a personel choice, and instruments vary. They might seem a bit pricey but remember they are in double lenghts and you do get two sets out of them.I have them fitted to my FLEA Soprano and they are perfect.

nice strings
Good sound, I like the appearance too. They are still stretching though, after weeks of play, so don't know if the sound will be negatively affected if that continues.
