Caught fisherman, not fish
Used these hooks to teach several hundred kids last summer how to tie basic fishing knots with the use of colored paracord. The eye of the hook was plenty big enough to easily pass 550 paracord thru and made a great visually aid for those young fisherman to see how the knots were exactly being tied. Could it actually catch a fish, i couldn't tell ya but it did help a bunch of kids learn to go out and catch a bunch of fish. So for that purpose, these hooks were awesome.

Great for Fishing Class
I file down the point and barb. I use 550 paracord to teach knott tying in a beginning fishing class. Great prop and easy for students to see as I am tying.

Strength Pull Test
The media could not be loaded. These may be more of a novelty item, but they're strong and well built. We winch tested one to see the max weight it could hold.

Very helpful
I bought this hook to attach to a fishing pole so I can get limbs off the roof without a ladder. I sanded the point off sharp end so it would not poke a hole in the shingles when it lands. Works great!
