Absolutely thrilled to share my experience with the this Crochet Kit for Beginners! Okay, so picture this: a cozy afternoon, me and this adorable kit, and a bunch of yarn that looked like a rainbow exploded. 😄 I've always wanted to try crocheting, but honestly, I thought I'd end up in a tangle of yarn. But this kit made everything so approachable. The step-by-step video tutorials were like having a patient friend guiding me – they broke down each stitch in a way that even I could understand. And can we talk about the cuteness overload of the finished piece? It was like instant gratification in yarn form! So here's the best part: it only took me an afternoon! I was kind of thinking I'd spend days wrestling with hooks and yarn, but nope! The instructions were so clear that I found myself getting the hang of it way faster than I expected. The stitches just kind of flowed, and by the end of it, I had this super charming thing I made myself. Bottom line – if you're looking for a fun and adorable way to spend an afternoon, the Crochetta Crochet is great. Seriously, I went from "what's a single crochet?" to "heck yeah, I'm a crocheting champ!" in just a few hours. I really wish I could do them all!

There was everything you needed to crochet the bee with the eyes, yarn and crocheting stick but the thing is the crocheting stick is VERY small (2.5). The colors of the yarn were nice and like the packaging but the instructions and the videos did not help because it was very fast. The yarn was also really stringy. I would only recommend this kit to people who are experienced and know how to do this type of stuff. As someone who does not have any background information on this subject, it was very hard, so if you would like me, and have no experience, I do not recommend this at all to you. But if you’re experienced, I would say just use your own crocheting stick and your good.

I saw reviews saying this wasn’t really beginner but I thought I could do it. I did, but with tons of trial and error. First off the kit came with everything I needed, and had it was all good quality. It’s stuff you’d buy separately to crochet too, not just cheap stuff a lot of kits include. This may be beginner for this style of crochet but it’s not really a beginner crochet project. Everything you’ll work with is very small. The videos are really good and helpful but it’s impossible to explain every nuance to beginners. So there were a lot of very simple assumed things that I didn’t know such as tightening a slip stitch, that the first crochet goes into the same hole as the slip stitch, and even things like the yarn getting separated if I yarned over in one direction vs another. All in all I’m glad I did it, it was a crash course in crochet but I am ready for any project now after doing this! I also love that I know how to read patterns now.

These are super cute and fairly east to make. Definitely watch the video if you have little to no experience. Received everything, there's a pattern booklet and a little booklet that shows how to make some of the stitches. Definitely would recommend buying this! I made keychains with the littlest ones. I still need to crochet the larger one, but I may make two more little bees..

The overall item is cute, and packaged nicely. The issue I had was it’s not beginner friendly. Although the videos are helpful, they seem to move a little too quickly for a beginner. I had to keep rewinding to see exactly what was going on a few times. The yarn is another problem. It is thin, and it comes apart way too easily. But overall it isn’t a terrible product. Just takes a little longer to get used to the yarn that is given in the package.

If your crochet experience hasn't been consistent for more than one month (or if you haven't made more than ten amigurumi dolls), please exercise caution when considering this kit. If you're lured by the low price and end up purchasing them, you'll quickly realize that completing the bee in the picture is nearly impossible. 1. The yarn included in the kit is prone to splitting, making it an incredibly challenging experience for newcomers compared to other yarn options available in the market. 2. The video tutorials follow a strange logic that is difficult to keep up with. As a regular person, I couldn't comprehend them at all. 3. You might think you can complete the project without watching the videos, but that's a trap. Many parts of the pattern contain errors! These misleading instructions will only lead you to doubt yourself, making you believe that the mistakes are your own. 4. The most daunting aspect is the bee design, especially for those who haven't tried changing yarn colors in their crochet projects. It's an advanced technique that will surely frustrate beginners!

This kit is cute however not for beginners. The eyes need to be put in place before stuffing. Otherwise, you cannot attach the back of the eye to keep it in place. It is easier to sew the mouth before stuffing and to attach the wings before stuffing. The yarn is a little splitty and for beginners this may be frustrating.
