My first pair of this shoe was a size 7.5, acquired through DSW. They fit perfectly, the soles were comfy for a slipper and I became so fond of them that after losing them, I spent months scouring the internet for another pair. A year later, I came across this listing on Amazon and ordered another in the same size. Unfortunately, when they arrived, they fit more like an 8.5 - not the strap, which still gives a narrow fit, but the length is inaccurate and makes me look like I'm wearing sparkly flippers 😩 It would hardly be sensible to recommend that you just order 2 sizes down, because the strap really is quite snug so that could be cause for a different problem... unless you're a really narrow 8.5, in which case, go for it! I'm unable to return mine for a refund as I live in the Caribbean and had these forwarded via skybox, so I can't comment on customer service. My daughter finally found a pair of shoes she wears more than once after saying "mom I really need this for my dress" She wears them with her dresses and with her jeans.

These sandals are really cute and easy to style with dresses, shorts, jeans, or other summer outfits. They work well for casual outings and look great on. However, I wouldn’t recommend them if you’ll be doing a lot of walking, since they’re not the most comfortable for long distances.
