My rescue pup sheds a lot but hates being brushed. I've bought and returned 7 different brushes over the past year, and finally, out of desperation, I decided to try this one.The handle isn't very comfortable to hold, but the stiffer bristles on one side are perfect. Strong enough they actually pull the loose hair out, but soft enough to be gentle on her sensitive skin. I also use the soft bristle side on her stomach and throat and she loves it!It's been such a struggle to brush her, but this is the first brush where, when she sees me take it out, she actually comes TO me rather than run and hide somewhere.Seriously, this brush is awesome. I am so happy I took the chance and ordered it. The only tiny flaw is I don't find the handle very comfortable to hold. If it was a bit rounder, I think it would be better.
