Perfect!!
Engine check light lit up on my 2005 Mercedes SLK 350 AMG. Mercedes 'offered' to have a look - it would take a week to book it in and would cost some £80+VAT. I needed to know what it was and wasn't wanting to pay the best part of £100k, plus taking time out of work, driving there and back again etc. Researched OBD2 readers and decided to get the Veepeak via Amazon Prime, it arrived the following day. I downloaded OBD Fusion software from OCTech whilst sat in the drivers seat. I followed the instructions, it all worked perfectly. Read the code and it was in the air injection system, which was logical as the check light lit up after I had replaced some of the pulleys at the front of the engine and noticed the following day that I had inadvertently pulled a small rubber hose off one side of the air injector itself. Job done! Faster than going to Mercedes, about a week faster and now I have a cool tool to interrogate any other issues in this car or my wifes Mercedes or anyone else whilst also being able to monitor engine operations whilst on the move with the OBD software.

Good
Worked great with free version of car scanner app to read & clear fault codes on my mk5 Golf.

Easy to use
Compatible with various apps so a cheap way to access some of the vehicle diagnostics. Works with our Saab 9-3 but only limited information using "Car Scanner" app. Not sure if this is down to the app or this sender unit but it does show fault codes & enables clearance of check engine light. This is the wifi version and connects ok to i-phone 5s.

Very useful. Works as exepected. Nice.
Seems to work great. Connects to torque and forscan on an android phone. I chose WIFI to be compatible with a PC which is great, but it does mean you cannot use google maps in parallel to navigate as it tries to use the WIFI to access the internet to plan the route (googles problem). I used this to detect and fix a blocked DPF. Connected to the ODB2 port and was able to see the differential pressure around the DPF. Could watch that and the temperature live to see if I could force a manual regeneration. It worked. Very useful tool. Gets a little hot but nothing to worry about, even after a 2 hour drive it was a bit warm. Very small and clean looking. Great value for money. Helped save me thousands by not having to replacing my DPF.

Not working at all
The item not only arrived extremely late, but the worst part is that it never worked. No light upon connection, no wifi signal detected. What a waste of money. The product is so cheap that there is no point returning it and paying the returning costs. Totally dissapointed 😕

Good Concept, Poor Execution.
This is a good idea, however the execution is not all that good. Connected this to my OBD2 port that I know works as I have a cabled scanner. Sometimes my phone can see this device, sometimes not. I held out and managed to get the WiFi connected but the connection is not stable, it drops randomly and I'm only 30cm; from the device. I work in IT and Comms so not new to IP addressing and connecting devices using WiFi. When this does stay connected the information is great, I'm using OBD Fusion which seems to be a very comprehensive application. The only bother is the WiFi signal will not stay connected. When trying to reconnect I keep getting an error message stating cannot join network over and over again. Even tried entering flight mode and connecting directly to the OBD unit but with no success. Think I'll be returning this item

Easy to use with quick results
I purchased this OBD2 scanner to use in conjunction with the OBD Fusion app on iOS 14.7.1 to check a 2007 BMW E91 as well as a 2005 Saab 9-3; in both instances the scanner picked up existing as well as recently cleared DTC errors including faulty 02 sensors and misfires. Very useful if you want to check a car before purchase or if you suspect the seller is telling porkies. My only niggle so far is that you need to connect to the scanner via WiFi on iOS.

I tried a few others but this is the winner among cheap, functional widgets! I have used this in several cars and DuraMax trucks. I have the WiFi version which works and connects truly seamlessly. It requires an app (not included) and the one that I use is OBDCarDoctor using the free version on my iPhone; The Android version of this app is not as good, you may want to try a few to find the OBD app you like best. I got these for my daughters, as well, and more of them for our trucks at work. I haven't tried the Bluetooth version but the WiFi works super with everyone's phones. This device allows me to read lots of information from the car's ECM dynamically, especially useful is reading real outputs for temps/volts/pressures all those things that are only monitored by idiot lights in the car. I am able to read and CLEAR any trouble codes while driving(!). This has been incredibly helpful when I've had a Duramax that went into "Limp" mode on a trip. I was pulling a trailer, so limp mode meant effectively undriveable; but clearing it allowed normal operation. I was able to simply clear the code (Exhaust regen serv) and drive it normally to a shop to get the issue addressed. THIS is the reason that I always have this device in the vehicle. Before doing this, you should seek advice about clearing the code presented. Clearing is "ignoring" a fault and SOME codes should NOT be ignored as doing so could lead to damage. Be aware of the meaning and impact of any code before deciding to clear it. Some things should not be ignored! This is a great tool, used wisely it can be a trip saver!

I recently purchased the Veepeak Mini WiFi OBD2 Scanner for use on an Australian delivered 2010 X-Trail, ST31 (Series 3) with the OBD Fusion app on my iPad. I found it was easy to set up and use and would recommend it to others who want a good quality WiFi OBD2 scanner.

Obligatorio tenerlo.
