Petites, these are perfect! Bought for an upcoming trip to Norway. I tried and returned several other brands and sizes before these. I'm 5'1, 127 lbs. and usually a 4P or 6P. I got a Medium Short because I wanted some room to put a wool layer underneath. They are plenty loose for that, but not so big that they're falling down. The waist has a little elastic on both sides - very comfortable without being frumpy. Not sure I'll use the belt. Plenty of pockets, all zippered. The inseam is a tad long barefoot, but perfect with hiking boots. And I love the straight legs! The soft lining is thin but warm - no "Christmas Story" puffy snowsuit look here. Very comfortable and stylish walking around. Have not tested the waterproofness, but will update my review after Norway if that's not as perfect as everything else about these pants.

For reference - I'm 5'6, 170lb athletic build F (with a bit of middle age fluff) and purchased size Large, Black pants.I purchased these in the fall, and its finally cold and blustery here in the midwest US. Wore them this morning to play with my pup in 12 degree windchill, with snow and wind coming down. They performed splendidly!I wore a high quality base layer underneath these Benboy pants, and they fit well with room to move. They are comfortable, lightweight, flexible, and very functional. The waistband has elastic gathering in strategic places that allows for give, but also remains flattering since it's not a full elastic waist. The pockets have ample room and you can carry several things if needed. I really REALLY love the textured/rugged knee area - its not so stiff to be bulky, but its rugged enough to deal with a jumping dog and ice and crud on the ground.The bottom of the pants have ample room for boots to be worn underneath, but because the pants are lightweight and flexible, you could tuck them into boots as well.They performed amazingly against the cold, windy, blustery 12F temps for 2 hours of pup time. They were completely windproof, stayed dry, staved off several puppy attacks :) and with a slight brushing off, they looked like they just came out of the package.I cannot say enough for these pants for light to moderate outdoor winter activity. I am very pleased with them and will be ordering additional pairs. The pricepoint of these pants is out of this world. I'd expect to spend 4x as much for this quality!***Came back to edit this review after wearing these pants non-stop through winter storm Elliot (December 2022). I had to take my 6 month old puppy out in -40f with 30-50 mph winds, several times a day and night. With a high quality base layer and the baleaf fleece lined tights (also sold on anazon) under these, they were rock solid. Completely wind and cold proof. If you think your should buy a pair of these, the answer is a resounding YES!! I have 2 pr and will but a few more in other colors. At this price point, there is nothing that comes close! What the title says. Shockingly nice for the price. Fit was good, warmth in low temps was good but was really bummed when the zipper of one of the pockets broke on the first day wearing them and I almost lost the stuff I had in that pocket (fell out in the snow). The other pocket zipper broke on the second day. Other than that, the waterproofing I put on them held up and they work well for all things considered (I wear them for ice climbing and snowboarding)

Super comfortable! I think they run a bit small. I’m 5’7, 128 pounds, i usually wear a size 6 in pants and I ordered size Small. They fit snug in waist and legs… like if they shrink they won’t fit. A little muffin top too. I’m keeping them though.

I oringinally ordered a large thinking I should size up based on what I have found with other athletic / outdoor brands like Columbia and because I plan to wear an additional layer underneath for winter but the large was way too big. The fastener on the waist band came off the first time I tried them on so I returned the first pair for a refund. Customer service was FANTASTIC! Actually made the experience an enjoyable one. The pants were exactly what I was looking for. They appear to be well made (except for the fastener), the material appears durable. I love the tougher material at the knees, I am a nature photographer and I'm frequently kneeling in all kinds of weather. The pants are cute. I don't care what we're doing, a girl still wants to look cute! Who says function and fashion can't coexist? They can with these! I reordered a medium and they fit with plenty of room for an additional layer underneath. The fit isn't perfect for me but I'm guessing they would be perfect for someone with a longer torso than me. I'm 5'3 with longer legs and short waisted. If you are wanting a warm pant for your outdoor activities with a more fitted look I would recommend these! I ordered the black with the pocket on the thigh, I suspect the different styles may fit differently. Good luck! I want another pair so I can always have one when the other is in the laundry. They have worn fantastic! I have worn them in sub-zero Temps with a layer underneath and stayed perfectly warm. I have worn them in snow and stayed dry, even when kneeling in the snow. These have proven to be durable, comfortable and warm!

Love them so much I bought a second pair. The style is complimentary and they are warm enough to wear alone. I got a large/tall and the fit was perfect to add a layer underneath or wear alone. They are water resistant but extended exposure to water will eventually soak thru. Great for snow play or skiing but they will get wet if you’re out there in it for a while. I bought black both times and the color is black. The only difference I noticed is the waist fastener is different in the second pair. The first one has a hook type closure and the second is a snap (which I don’t have any issues with at all). Love these pants.
