When you first try them on, they are a little stiff at first. Put your heal all of the way back in the shoe. There is more room up front on the sides. After a week of wearing them, I realized how nice they are and there seems to be more room. I wore size 11 sketches composite toe before trying theses shoes. I wear size 11 wide in these shoes, same size as the sketchers..

I was hesitant after reading reviews about size being smaller. I ordered my regular size in x-wide and they fit perfectly. They feel good & comfortable and look very nice. I'm a city bus driver and sometimes wheelchairs hit my toes, so hopefully the composite toe will help me. Which, btw, they are also very light. Overall, this is one of my favorite decisions I've made. The size is right. The look & feel is good. And the price is definitely a plus. Not bad!!! Go ahead and take a chance with these shoes. You just might not regret it. However, that little reflective strip on the top of the toe bothered me. I really don't know why it's there or for what purpose it should serve because I'm the only one seeing it. I think I know where my toes are, so it's useless. I used a black paint marker, not a sharpie marker, but actual paint marker, and painted them, as seen in the last picture. Other than that, they're good enough for me.

They are generously wide at ball of foot, slightly narrow at the toes for my foot. I usually wear a men’s 7.5 4E width, these feel more like a 2E, but still acceptable. The widest part of my foot being at the toes, then the ball of my foot. I can wear these comfortably if I’m not doing a lot of heavy walking, with or without steel-toed boot socks. They have a very cushy insole, and are supportive. You could put an orthodic in these. The toe box is deep, They are lightweight (composite toe). The tongue opens wide, making it easy to get my foot in and out. Nicely padded all around heel and upper foot. Length is slightly long, but I ordered my normal 7.5 and am happy with them.

I have purchased cheaper shoes, and they would last for at least six months before I need to purchase another pair. I purchased these shoes for Christmas, and in less than two weeks of wearing them, the shoestring has frayed, and the top of the shoe appears to be coming apart. Not worth the price. Very disappointed with this purchase.

My husband finally has a pair of work shoes to wear daily with no complaints of any pain or discomfort. I'm ordering another pair for him. The shoes are of good quality, comfort, good fit, durable for his in the field work and standing all day. My husband has wide feet. 5'11", 235 lbs and rough on his work shoes. These shoes have stood up to all the hard work he puts on them. One thing he is happy with is the front part of shoe is wide enough so his toes are not crammed together while wearing shoes. There's space in front for his wide front portion of toes and joints to fit comfortably! I give this shoe a five star for material quality, comfort, price, manufacturing, and style. I have very wide feet. 12 1/2 WWW. These were and are too tight for me and do no break in. I found my feet in extreme pain at the end of the day and into the next.Perhaps better research prior to purchase would have had me looking elsewhere.They are well made, they are waterproof, the composite toe-box is great, just too tight for me.They are not lightweight.

Right out of the box, I was impressed with the build quality of the shoes. I was very excited until I wore it that ended all the excitement: it immediately started to put pressure on my toes and my feet palm, when standing or walking. Seating on a chair would remove the pressure my feel felt free inside the shoes. I was able to put a finger between the back of my foot and the inside of the shoes which means the size was ok, but not the arch and the design. I had to wear it for two days since I didn’t bring my other beloved 5 years old redwing shoes with me on this trip (I visit our factory every other week). Day 2 I started to feel back pain and my both feet were already sore that I could not tolerate, so I replaced the shoes with ones that I borrowed from the supervisor. When I got back home my back pain got worse and the day after I had to visit ER!!! No other out of ordinary accident happened to me except wearing a new pair of shoes and it was my first back pain. It took me 10-12 days to recover my back, and it too bad that I could not even think of my sore feet in those days. I agree my feet are sensitive to arch design and orthopedic design of shoes. my feet did not tolerate cheaply designed shoes in the past but never in my life a pair of shoes could injure me so bad.Conclusion: these shoes may look good in hand, but definitely do not feel good on feet, especially if your feet are sensitive to arch support. You get product like this when a man of machinery and manufacturing decides to make a product that does not have any idea what the product is! 2 star is for the build quality.

I first purchased an 11 wide, and found tight on my toes. I returned to vendor at no charge and ordered the extra wide size. I was issued a refund. And I love the fit now. Thank you. Also I was impressed with how light the shoe is.
