There are times paying more gets a better solution. This is one of those times. I now have all 4 identical external monitors attached to my laptop, thanks to this device.I've tried a couple of less expensive USB to HDMI adapters but none of them work anywhere near as well as this does. This solution feels every bit as responsive as a native HTMI port. Would buy again in a heartbeat should the need arise.

When I first got this item, I discovered that the monitors hooked up to it had lines flickering on them randomly, but only if I had a program open on said one of the monitors. I did some trouble shooting, and after exhausting all options on self fixing it, messaged the seller through amazon detailing the issue as well as what I had done to attempt to fix it.the seller responded very quickly saying they would send a new one out and that I would NOT have to return the first one. the new one arrived within a week, and I just set it up and tested it and the issues are gone. I am very pleased with the not just the item itself, but also for the rapid response to my inquiries. I did not ask for a replacement in my message, I merely asked if I had missed a step for troubleshooting. the seller made the decision to send a new one out on their own. the primary reason I am giving this five stars is because of the customer service and how rapidly they responded and didn't give me a run around.overall, the item is good. a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I am a frugal person, and could not find anything less expensive that supported extending my screen instead of merely mirroring, so it seems like I got a good price for what I needed. I do wish the USB cord were longer, but thats a minor nitpick. the item itself is smaller than I expected it, which is great as I have quite a few things in that area.neither of the ones I got came with a CD to install the drivers, but that was easily done from a website, even with my slow internet. after that it was a simple plug, configure, and play. and the configuring was merely going into my display settings to set up the multi display options.TLDR: good product, does what I need it to, EXCELLENT customer service that responds quickly when there is an issue.

Ottimo prodotto, all'inizio i due monitor 2k davano schermo colorato, ho cambiato usb del mio portate e tutto ha funzionato alla perfezione.. ottimo per adesso..

What I received does not look exactly like the images so perhaps I received the wrong item. Mine has round sides and a flat front and back. It’s also all black plastic with no silver looking parts. On windows 11 both outputs are the same resolution - There is no option to select a second resolution even with two different monitors attached. I used the drivers included in the USB partition that was on the device - It shows up as a USB drive with drivers and PDF manuals. Additionally the maximum resolution it offers me is 1920x1080 even when connected to higher resolution monitors. The description says it supports 2048x1152. The item looks to be okay but the box it came (shipped in a bubble wrap envelope) looks pretty beat up.Edit 2023/06/15: Added images.Item not detected with official "DisplayLink" drivers - only with those on the device. That seems odd. However, even with the on device drivers it does not allow the promised resolutions - and both monitors are the same (tried on Windows 10 & 11 systems).

Nice, it does what's supposed to do, extend HDMI connection through USB!It's working for share video, presentations and audio through USB to HDMIIt maybe doesn't work very good with videogames but it's okEverything else worksJust remember to INSTALL DYSPLAYLINK drivers to make it works!
