OP/TECH 1301372 Pro Loop System Connectors, Black

Love the Op/tech system and have the straps on my 4 bodies. I got these for use with the double harness as the short loops were awkward, but I find these just too long, even when adjusted as short as possible. They're great with the standard strap, as they allow you to carry it on the opposite shoulder for extra comfort, stability and security, yet it's still possible to shoot like this.

I already had the full version of this product (with the neoprene neck strap) but recently bought the R Strap camera strap as I didn't find the neck strap very comfortable with the weight of my camera but it worked perfectly with my binoculars. This meant that I didn't have the smaller strap attached to my camera anymore and I really missed it.As commented but a reviewer of the full blown product, the length of the smaller strap is perfect when you're doing handheld work and gives you the extra security of having the camera attached to your wrist. For me, as an added security measure, I use the strap to attach it to my R-Strap in case the supplied mounting unscrews itself (will probably never happen but no harm in having a back up).All in all, a small but very handy accesory.

All of my camera straps are Optech. I find them well made and durable, so when I bought a new dslr body I looked at the Optech range. I decided to buy just the loop connectors as I can then add the neck pad as and when I use that camera. Good product.

The original OP/TECH strap that I own has different connectors at each end and this kit contains one of each connector strap, allowing you to replace either or both of those.The need for replacement in my case was this: one of my camera's metal lugs had a small scratch on it, which I hadn't realised existed -- too small for me to notice and too small to affect the original (Nikon-made) connector strap in any way.That tiny scratch caused a small tear in the part of the OP/TECH connector that was tied around it and that eventually caused the whole strap to become unsafe. I ordered this replacement, smoothed the scratch in the camera's metal lug using fine sandpaper and all is now well.

It does the job on the dual harness, but I have to swap them to connecct it to my OptechSling Strap, very annoying, but it is more a problem with the Sling Strap / Dual harness that with the connector itself

An excellent and versatile system. I have a pair of these tails for both of my cameras, and a single handloop and a single shoulder strap. I can quickly swop methods over, and if I want no straps on at all for studio work the tails are very fast to remove. Far and away the best modular camera strap system you can buy.I would prefer if the should strap section was a bit longer but thats all I can think of negative point.

I have been using OpTech camera straps in my business for over thirty years. I recently added another camera and so bought a new strap, but I found that the basic straps seem to be getting shorter, so bought these to lengthen them. I used them on an assignment in Europe last week and loved the fact that I could vary the length to suit my needs. Great solution. I will now buy more for all my other cameras.

The Op/Tech system is very useful if you have several cameras; I have versions of these small strong loop connectors on all my cameras (they even do a version for the Mamiya RB67). I need only travel with one neck strap, cutting down on bulk.
