Bought to replace an old dashcam that was not saving video. This model is so much better, great video and voice messages let me know what it is doing. I also like the feature where after I stop driving, it continues to monitor objects in its field of view and will video if it detects a potential impact, without me being present.

VIOFO WM1 Dash Cam, 2K 1440P Dash Camera, Built in Wi-Fi GPS, Wlan Free APP, Compact Design …..I already have a VIOFO camera, which was pretty good until it went faulty. So, this camera is a step up, although it doesn’t have a screen, the video can be monitored on the downloadable App via its own WiFi connection. There isn’t a lot in the box with this one, just the camera, a long USB-C power lead with cigarette lighter plug, a short USB-A to USB-C data lead, a trim removal tool, some sticky pads, some electrostatic sticky sheets, a manual and some other random leaflets.Very easy to fit the camera, just peel off the sticky and stick to the windscreen, run the cable to the cigarette lighter socket. There isn’t a rear camera for this and no option to fit one, the camera has 4 simple controls, a record button to turn recording on and off which also doubles as a power button, a mic button to turn the microphone on and off, a WiFi button to turn the WiFi on and off and finally a lock button which prevents the current/last video from being overwritten.The App is available for both Android and IOS, it mainly consists of setup features, although live video can be monitored and recording can be activated and snapshots taken, a basic interface though. The WiFi is only 2.4Ghz and is easy to connect to by selecting the built-in access point and the dash-cam has built-in GPS which records position, speed, and time, and overlays them on the video. The only problem with the WiFi is that my phone would disconnect when nearby to other registered networks, but this does not affect the recording.Recordings are at 2K resolution and there is a shutter effect which, unlike cheaper dash-cams stores the video more like a series of stills, this allows single frames to be clear without motion blur.The only mistake I made was the position of the ‘semi’ clear electrostatic pad, as this can be seen as a blurred section on my screen shot.So, a good camera, built-in GPS, simple App, excellent image quality but no option for additional rear camera.

Every review so far except this one is marked as "Customer Review of Free Product".The image quality is acceptable but nothing amazing. The speed tracking however is unreliable and laggy, and then entirely stopped working on mine. It is now working again but is still laggy, meaning it won't show the speed I'm actually going at that point in time. One of the main benefits of a dashcam is to show this, making it poor value for money without it.

I bought two of these and am very happy with the quality. You can buy quite a bit cheaper but this blends in perfectly with my new car and does not look like an add on.

This webcam is a nice size and was very easy to install in my car.The webcam is black in colour and has a slick design making it blend in nicely with the interior of my car. There are buttons on the front of the camera that allow you to record when you choose to do so. There is also a sticky pad on the back that makes it very easy to install into your car and position in the correct way.The picture quality is actually quite nice and you are able to see things clearly through the video. I just find some difficulties connecting the camera to my phone but this was quickly resolved with some searches online. Once everything was connected is easy to use now when I jump in my car and very quick to activate.This webam helps to give me some peace of mind whilst driving and helps me feel a little more safe on the road.

This is an easy to use and setup dash cam, that is very easy to setup.The package comes with the dash cam including relevant power connectors for your car.The dash cam has useful 3m sticky pads which will ensure a secure connection. This is likely going to come down to personal preference, but I'd prefer a suction pad, as these can be easily connected and removed.The dash cam is supported with an app which is easy to setup and install.The provided power cable comes with plenty of length that it should be appropriate for most cars and distances it needs to be plugged in.Some dash cams can be a little bulky, however this is nice and neat and doesn't obstruct the windscreen all that much at all.The quality of the video is also very good with a decent Sony sensor used by the dash cam. I am happy to be using it and happy that if I needed to use it as evidence for anything it would be more than adequate to submit.Decent price too. No issues in giving 5*s.

A little bit complicated to use at first with lots of different button press configurations for different things. They do however, have a useful video showing the full set up and how to work the camera. Installing was easy, done with a sticky sheet it attaches to. The adhesive on it is fairly good and it feels very secure on the windscreen. They supply everything you need to get it up and running. I had no need to use the App and this can be used without the app. You will also need your own SD card to record things. Looking over the clips, it catches just about everything I can see with my own eyes through my front windscreen. The license plates are easily readable, the night vision mode is also pretty good and, of course it loses quality, but it still clearly shows what is happening on the road.
