My friend told me about these when she heard my wellness doctor was helping me to detox. She said she has used them for years and the work well. I was hesitant to buy them since I read online that detox foot pads don't really work, but since she swore by them I decided to give them a try. They apply very easily, they stay stuck on all night, but I do put socks on over them. The very first night I applied them I slept for 8 hours straight, which I never do. I was well rested the next morning. The pad was nice and black the next morning, but I know this is a result of the active ingredient being black, and reacting to the sweat on your feet. So the black stuff on the pad isn't actually the heavy metals from your body, but you still know it is helping you detox because you feel amazing after just a few days of use. A lot more energy and you urinate quite a bit more the next day which is your body detoxing. There is a strong smell in the morning when you remove them for the bamboo vinegar, but you only smell it when you remove the pad. There is some black stuff on the bottom of your feet and some glue from the pad, but it quickly washes off. I would recommend you try them.

Product seems to work pretty well. The only thiing that bothers me is that the tape does not stick very well. Had to put a sock on to keep it from coming loose. Very good product for the price. I have tried the higher grade products and this one does the job just as well as the high price ones.

Great product! These have been popular in Japan for years but are newer to the US. Some reviews seem misinformed, so don’t let negativity sway you. I’ve used similar products, and this one is excellent. Due to the tourmaline, the color doesn’t fade like others over time. Yes, there’s some residue, but it wipes off easily, and the odor is normal.While there’s no hard scientific proof, I believe it works. The pads pull toxins from your feet, and with consistent use. It was inspired by bamboo. I feel detoxified and energized. Eastern medicine has been around far longer than Western medicine, focusing on natural remedies. If you’re curious, it’s worth trying!

I received these yesterday...and have to wonder: Was I scammed?So, night comes. Open said box. The patches are small. Peel and stick them on. The fit snug in the curve of the foot. The adhesive is quite strong. As long as your foot is dry, it will stay on all night.But...here's where I'm wondering about a scam. Supposedly, this holistic cure was developed using Ancient Chinese Medicine from 5000 years ago. (Who dares to question Master Chun's ancient health remedies, eh? Well, I do.) The theory goes...the stuff in the patch will suck the toxins right of you. Through your feet. Not your liver...or kidneys...your feet. Okay, I'll try it.But...I'm wondering...is this stuff really working? Is it really sucking toxins out of my body? Or, did I just buy into one big Chemistry scam? What's really in the that bamboo-looking goo in the patch? Is it truly some Ancient Chinese secret? Or, is it just a pad of chemicals that will turn black when exposed to body heat and sweat? (If you put a sticky patch on your feet...what happens? It gets hot and your feet sweat.)End result: You wake up in the morning, peel off the pad, see all the bad black stuff, go "Yuck!", and feel like you've done something good for yourself.Or, wonder if you got scammed because the color change is just simple Chemistry.Fact?
