great little waffle maker, pay attention to size, these are LITTLE waffles, grandkids love them as they can run around with small waffle in hands (two and three years old). you must have patience as it makes a ton of little waffles, great for little sandwiches too

I’ve been loving this taiyaki machine! It’s super easy to use, and cleanup is no hassle at all. The plates are removable, so I can just take them off and give them a quick wash—no mess, no stress. It also cooks really evenly, and the taiyaki turn out so cute and tasty. I’ve tried it with red bean, Nutella, even cheese—and everything came out great. It’s compact too, so I can stash it away when I’m not using it. Totally worth it if you’re into fun snacks!

Gifted this to my niece for Christmas and we spent time together making Taiyaki. We found a recipe online, got ingredients and fired it up. Worked out of the box, easy to understand. Works like a waffle maker, easy to use and understand.Couple notes:The 'green' light isnt actually green...its a faint orange under the green reflector. So that threw us both off as we waited for about 20min for the iron to heat up. After my wife pointed out the light, we got to work.Use Pam or some other non-stick for additional ease of use. Instructions recommend it.Try not to overfill the molds with batter. The batter will expand. If you overfill, the batter leaks out the sides. Tough to clean up afterward.I'd like for the irons to be removable. That would make cleanup soooo much easier, but it is what it is.Overall, for the price, this is great and easy to use. With a good recipe, it makes some delicious taiyaki.

Love this mini waffle maker! Used it to make waffle kabobs for a party and it made the process so much easier and quicker. It's durable and the slim design is easy to clean and store.

This appliance does a good job in making 1 1/2 inch aebleskivers. The forks (included to turn them) are very useful. The heat level is adjustable and with practice you'll know the right setting. The heat isn't uniform across the pan. Not terribly different but something to look for. I would recommend that you turn the balls 1/4 turn just when the batter firms up, and then again when it firms up the second time. you can turn them occasionally to have an even golden brown the the balls. I would use a coating of melted unsalted butter in the cavaties before adding the batter.

The waffle size is adorable and very cute, but it’s an absolute nightmare to clean. The whole thing cannot get wet however, the plates are screwed in, so every time you would want to wash the plates correctly you would have to unscrew them. As a mother to many young children, that is super impractical. And the sides of the iron are plastic, and Certainly not nonstick.

very small. you need a thick batter since you cant flip it. they are fun, but thin and small. I think I will get the 3 inch instead. If you do these, make them to order and save the batter. They do not heat up well as leftovers.

Opened this immediately after it arrived, and started making some bite sized chicken and waffles! Heads up very quickly, is the perfect thickness, is nice and sturdy, and every one turns out smelling and tasting amazing! I love the capacity of it, and its just an overall great value for the product!
