Honestly, this is the first plant light I've gotten that's worth every penny. I got two because I need some supplemental light for the plants towards the back of this stand during winter months.I did NOT want to be falling over tripods, nor did I want to build a trellis over this stand to hang lights on, so it's a good thing this design exists, because now I don't have to! The ONLY thing NOT aluminum on these lights are the actual soil stake itself and the sleeves between the telescoping sections of pole. Even those components are heavy duty, so the construction overall is excellent. The head will rotate on the pile 360 degrees (barring you tangling up the cord) and will tilt just over 90 a degree arch. It is absolutely as tall (or short) as described, which is awesome, and it's flimsy ehen fully extended. Overall, it's lightweight, too.The light panel itself has exceptional heat dissipation. After being on for 12+ hours, it's only warm to the touch. It will not burn you like other lights on the market. The AC adapters have a plug connector and can be unplugged from the rest of the cord, which is super handy for theeading wires through stands or cabinets. The AC adapters are also well made, not the delicate, unreliable things that (again) a lot of lights come with. The cords are plenty long, so you have a lot of room to play with, and the timers are the same as most of the rest out there and have been reliable, so far. Yep, they reset and you have to start over if they are unplugged or the power goes out.But so far, very pleased and when it comes to plant lights, these may be the only ones I buy, moving forward (and as other fixtures need to be replaced).

Cons: The timer is inaccurate, I have to keep resetting it. After a while it’ll turn on hours after the original 12hr time cycle I set. I would’ve loved this if it worked with the smart plugs I use for all my grow lights, unfortunately it will not come on once it’s given power. The controls have to be set for it to be used. So if there’s a brief power outage it will not come back on and it will need to be reset again.Pros: it does not get hot like my Sansi grow lights. The pink light is easier on the eyes. And it’s very slim. I was surprised it’s heavier than it looks which implies qualityOverall: my anthuriums seem to like it. They’ve grown more leaves in these few months of use. I’d buy more if there wasn’t the timer issue. With the recent heat wave, I’d like to change out the hot Sansi lights I have for less heat emitting lights like this, if only the timer worked or if it were compatible with other timersUpdate: Quite a pleasant surprise Barrina’s customer service is helpful and responds within 24hrs, even on a weekend. From my experience other grow light companies ghost customers when the products have problems. I’m giving extra stars for great service and will happily stick with Barrina lights. The price is nice for the quality of light. It’s sturdy and easy to use. I’ll just reset the timer once every week or so.

Seems like it will hold up well over time. I've had it for several weeks now, rigged up to my heart shaped plant stand 😍 The adjustable height was more than sufficient to get what I needed there, and I may end up changing the setup soon to see if my plants like it better. The light is also fairly unobtrusive, which is nice.Adjustable brightness and temps are a really nice feature! Minus one star because it "loses time" with the auto feature (which is still really nice to have). It seems as if the number of hours stays pretty well accurate, but it starts just a little bit later day by day. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of!

I can not begin to explain how happy I am I purchased this. It has been a game changer when it comes to my deliciosa getting enough light. I love the color adjustments/options, the timer, the sleek design and build and the amount of light it gives off, it works great! I will absolutely only be buying Barrina lights from now on. Was super easy to put together, took me maybe a minute? Can’t wait to watch her grow even more

I thought it was gonna come with a stand on its own but it has to be inside the pot with the plant

This light is just right for the lemon tree I started from a seed.

If you want to put a plant in an area where the typical tripod light will not work, this is absolutely perfect! You can place a plant anywhere, add one of these to the pot, and you are done. I have an Alocasia Regal Shield ( 2 feet tall ) in a 5 gallon grow pot and put two of these on the container because eventually it will be a 3-5 foot plant. In two weeks it has already sprouted out 2 new leaves and growing amazingly!.......and this plant is no where near a window! No issues with the timer or power supply.....working perfectly. I am very pleased. That being said, I have only been using this product for a month ( and on full spectrum ), but time will tell for longevity! I have already ordered several more of these. As an after thought, the light also looks very classy....
