This haircare bundle is from the hair therapy range by Dove to help with breakages and arrived wrapped in brown paper. The set includes x1 400ml bottle of shampoo, x1 400ml bottle of conditioner and x1 100ml bottle of leave in treatment. I do use Dove products but this my first time using it for haircare and it has a lovely scent and consistency. All three containers dispense via a pump system and are easy to control.The range is designed to provide 97% less breakage by caring for the hair at a cellular level (at the hair’s cortex) by using nourishing ingredients and moisturisers and incorporating hyaluronic serum, often used in skincare products, to lock in precious hydration.The shampoo which has a thick translucent consistency which lathers and rinses out well (although it doesn’t lather quite as well as a shampoo containing sulphates it still works well) with a nice gentle cleanse which doesn’t strip my hair. The conditioner which has a white thick consistency also works well as long as you work it into the hair strands and let it sit for a minimum of a minute in order for the conditioner to absorb – don’t forget to rinse thoroughly so it doesn’t leave any unwanted residue. The final stage is the leave in treatment which requires you to lift your hair in sections and spray the thin liquid directly onto the hair / scalp and massaging in – remember since this is a leave in treatment do not rinse it out.The bundle is formulated with 0% sulphates and parabens which is ideal since I have long, medium thickness, wavy hair which is quite dry from dyeing and using heat to style. I was able to style my hair as normal without any issues and I haven’t had any adverse reactions to the products. After use my hair felt manageable and soft with a light, pleasant floral fragrance and I do think that there are less breakages too.Dove is registered with PETA so the products are suitable for vegans as they are cruelty free and the bottles in this range are made with 70% recycled plastic, so there is a positive ethical push from this brand which is always pleasing to see. Currently priced at £24 at the time of reviewing, this haircare bundle isn’t the cheapest option but considering it contains hyaluronic acid and it did leave my hair feeling soft to the touch, clean and healthy I thought that this was a good quality bundle which I would recommend.
