2557-20 M12 Fuel 3/8" Ratchet (Bare Tool)

Bought the 1/4" drive and 3/8" drive ratchets a few months ago. Very pleased and extremely happy with purchase. I am a mobile diesel mechanic and had purchased quite a few of the NiCad battery tools years ago. I was very displeased with those tools, battery time, and always seemed to be purchasing new batteries to replace the old ones that didn't last. These ratchets have brushless motors and the batteries last a long time, only take about an hour to charge, are ruggedly built. Slim profile, plenty of torque for removing and tightening fasteners, have a built in light to illuminate where you trying to get the socket. They've take a few falls after rolling off loader tires or being dropped from the top of an engine. Nice to not to have to drag or manipulate an air hose into the tight spot behind an engine. I also purchased the right angle M12 drill for drilling out broken bolts behind the engine block and frame. That too, has performed very well!! I'll be buying more of these tools in the future!! July 7, 2019-Tools still going strong and performing awesome!! Nothing broken, plenty of drops, falls, and kicks while being used daily. I did purchase the M12 XC6.0 batteries and use those almost exclusively on the ratchets instead of the standard 2.0 M12 batteries. The 2.0 batteries are only used for the lights now, unless the big battery won't fit into a tight space on the ratchet. A well built and rugged tool for sure!! No regrets here and no problems...batteries or tool.

This is an incredible tool. It is built really well, has proven to be very durable, and is the perfect size to fit into tight spaces. This make engine work a breeze, and it really excels in confined spaces. I used this this tool for everything from equipment uncrating, to electrical installations and automotive work. It’s a time saver, a wrist saver, and I highly recommend it. Batteries seem to last a long time in this thing as well!

Where has this tool been all my life! I work as an HVAC tech and were constantly working on equipment in tight spaces. This ratchet is amazing! It saves me a ton of time on motor change outs, condenser fans, compressor removals where you have to get in tight places. It's got a lot of power for a 12v and I've been totally impressed. Every one of my coworkers wants one now. I was a little concerned with the slower speed compared to other ratchets on the market but I have no concerns now. The power to speed ratio is perfect for my work and I love it. It's built much tougher than the previous model and overall feels very rugged. I like that the paddle can be locked so you can throw it in a bag and not worry it will turn on. I bought the 1/2" version as well I liked it so much

Best brand you can have,it does the job well

It’s ok, works as intended. Just don’t expect to be breaking a lot of bigger bolts loose with it. 14mm and down this is great. Anything bigger and you just need the impact on it. Does its job….

I love this thing and I use it a ton. I’m a bleacher repairman and we are hard on our tools. This thing has been reliable and hasn’t failed me yet. Is a “real” Milwaukee tool? I’m not sure and to be honest, at the price point and how beefy this thing is, I don’t really care.

When time is money, efficiency counts. When working on cramped cars, you need all the help you can get. I’m just going to stop my review there. If you are looking at this tool you know why you’re here. Yes it has tons of punch and it fits in tight places. Just do it already

Ratchet itself looks good and in new condition. Box is damage and opened before as the sealed tape is already cut when received.

Estuve armando unas sillas gamer con tornillos hexagonales 15 y todo bien. El armado fue rápido y seguro ya que no excedes el torque. Sin embargo en el área automotriz, intente remover un tornillo 13 de múltiple se escape y el torque no fue suficiente. Apesar de ser Fuel, creo que carece de torque para trabajos pesados en automóviles.
