I won't go back to a corded hot glue gun. Never knew this was something I needed.

What a great glue gun!
This is almost the glue gun of my dreams. It is well-balanced and feels good in my hand. The charging stand is small but--unlike some of my other corded glue guns--it can support the gun upright with good stability. I do wish a standard cord came attached to the charging stand so I could easily keep it plugged in at my work table. I ended up using an extra cell phone battery to charge it.What's really cool is that the gun's motorized delivery system dispenses an exact measured amount, no more and no less. Gone are the oozing blobs of hot glue that dribbled continuously from my old glue gun.Yes, it uses tiny glue sticks, which aren't idea if you have a lot of gluing to do, but it also dispenses ultra thin lines of glue. You end up using considerably less glue for the same project. One issue: Other glue guns let you finesse the trigger dispensing to deliver exactly what's needed. With this gun, since the motor is always delivering exactly the same amount, that kind of finessing isn't possible. In some cases, very delicate applications will receive the same amount of glue as everything else, which may overwhelm them with glue.Still, that measured dispensed amount is still thinner than my old glue gun's wide line. Some design issues take a little getting used to. For example, the status light turns on when the gun is charging, but there's no indicator as to when the gun is fully charged, and no real way to tell how much charge is left. It does seem to hold a charge for quite awhile, but there's no way to know if the gun's going to die right in the middle of a critical project. Also, you're left to guess when the glue is actually soft enough to dispense. On my old glue gun it was easy to tell; there was no ready light, but the oozing molten glue dribbling out of the nozzle was a pretty obvious sign. The motor moves the glue smoothly without any lingering drips or a continuing stream of glue oozing out. Its line is fine and even. The nozzle tip is so much smaller than a standard glue gun nozzle that I seemed far less likely to get burned on it.One other (very small) issue: I frequently used the old glue gun nozzle, when hot, to seal ribbon edges and other small objects. This gun's nozzle is so small it won't effectively do that. Of course, that's not really the purpose of a glue gun, so I can't fault it.Overall, I really like this gun. It dispenses a clean, precisely placed, thin strip of hot glue. It heats up quickly, never drips, is frugal with glue waste, and never burns me. I am thrilled to own it and think it's worth every penny.

Stopped Working.
I first bought this product and got home and plugged it in. The first one I bought in fact did not work and I had returned it and ordered another one hoping it was just that one or they sold me a used one. The second one I ordered worked fine for a few months(I only used it maybe once a week), and now it will not work again. I really enjoyed this product but I can not afford to replace it with such little use.

Wish it came with a base
I really liked how you don't have to keep squeezing to keep the glue flowing. I wouldn't say it's anti-drip, because laying it on it's side allowed the glue to come out. I had to find a little snack cup to stand the glue gun in to keep it upright, then it didn't drip. Apparently, there is a charging base to stand the glue gun on because the owners manual referenced it but mine didn't come with one. The heat was great. Not fighting with a cord was great. I am glad I made the purchase. The charge lasts a long time.

Great glue gun with auto off feature
The media could not be loaded. My wife is a huge crafter and uses her glue gun a lot. The old one always had to be plugged in so she was limited on her work space. I picked this cordless glue gun up for her and she loves it! This review is her commentary on the gun as I didn't use it, only watched her.First, the gun sits in the charger nicely and charges quickly. It felt nice in her hand and was comfortable for her to use for the entire project. The glue gun heated up quickly and the indicator lights were a nice touch. While heating, the light flashes red. Once it is heated it turns to a solid green. When you put in the glue stick, you have to pump the trigger to pull the stick through. Be aware the first time you use it though. When you pump it quickly, it will pull the glue stick through and will continue to push melted glue out after you stop. It only happened the first time we loaded the gun however. In the video you can see that one squeeze will give you a small amount of glue and it cuts off smoothly when you release the trigger. The longer you depress the trigger, the more glue that comes out.The best feature is the auto off. After a few minutes on not being used, the gun shuts itself down. This is great as, with our old one, our daughter burned her hand when she touched the gun accidentally. The gun uses smaller glue sticks then our old one, but they include 10 in the package so you have time to order more.Overall, my wife thought this was a great product. It's comfortable in her hand, charges quickly and heats up VERY quickly. The glue comes out smoothly and instantly stopped when the trigger is released. The auto off feature is great and, even if it shuts down while you're using it, the gun heats up in under 20 seconds! We paid about $25 for our old glue gun so, at $39.99 (the price at the time of this review), it is well worth the extra money for the portability and auto off feature.

Heck yes
This glue gun has made gluing things so much easier. I used to hate using glue guns mostly because the cords are so long and you’ve wrap them up 1000 times and it makes it a heinous messed ever get anything done. This glue gun put an end all of that and hold a charge for ever and heats up instantly fast and it puts out glue super easy. Maybe one of the best glue guns I’ve ever come across. I love the stand. Stores easily. Cools down immediately. And it’s a fantastic value. If you’re looking to craft with a glue gun, I would get this one absolutely fantastic
