I love the Music Man for on the go music. Sound quality is good regardless of whether you use headphones or the built in speakers. The size is just right for carrying with you from room to room, working outdoors or wherever you go. Great also to have the choice to have music playable from an SD card or USB stick which makes it easy to update your collection or create new folders from your PC. I can't recommend it enough. A very well designed piece of kit for anyone who likes portable music. It even has a radio!! Top marks from me!!

Following some other reviews I was a bit dubious about this but having taken a bit of time to get to know its quirks I'm actually very pleased with it. At first I thought it was faulty but eventually realised that it needed a LONG CHARGE before first use. I use it only to play music podcasts and some of these are over an hour long. The display only indicates up to an hour but this isn't a huge problem as it 'wraps round' and starts again from zero. Crucially for me, you can turn it off completely and it will restart from where it stopped.....but only if you turn it off properly; hold down the PLAY button until 'STANDBY' disappears then switch power off. Very occasionally this seems to fail and the fast-forward is incredibly slow! USB sticks need to be formatted as FAT32 which may not be their default state. Sound quality is extremely good for the size. Battery life is not great so best to keep it plugged in whenever possible. The instructions are dreadful but worth reading if only to work out how to get the display into English! Overall, I think this is very good value for the money.

I liked the look of the unit and the sound quality was very good. However the supplied battery would not charge so the unit can only be used when plugged into the mains. I complained to Amazon and they refunded the money. I then purchased another one and this worked fine on the internal battery for a while. Unfortunately, the battery did not last very long. I purchased a replacement and that too has reached a point where it will not charge. For a good looking item it is a shame that the quality is poor. I will not be buying another one, obviously.

Excellent sound quality and volume for its size and price. Battery life from the supplied rechargeable is just about acceptable. The display is poor with low resolution digits and a bit fuzzy. The software navigation is poor making finding your desired music track from a usb difficult. The language as supplied is German meaning I had to consult the internet for translation to switch to English - this has been noted by other users too. Haven’t used the radio since only wanted music from usb. In summary good sound but poor navigation

Was surprized how small the item was but the speakers are fantastic. I use it to play music from a USB stick.

It's small and very smart looking.We bought the blue one and it even tells you when the battery is charged by the battery compartment changing colour from red to blue.Sounds great and plays MP-3 a treat

I used it to play music from usb which is what I wanted it for.. followed advice of previous reviewer and charged for a few hours via laptop.. sound good for 10-15 minutes when sounds like birds cheeping drowned the music.. tried resetting the usb turn off/on.. same again.. Have tried a few times.. unusable.

Really pleased with this speaker. Actually bought a second one. I downloaded all my favourite music from my old computer (in MP3 format) to a USB which now plays on the speaker/radio. Even worked out how to make it play tunes randomly. It has loud volume if needed and not even slightly 'tinny'.
