I had to replace the first one, which the company did with no problem, but have not tried the heat/timer.Aside from that, the design does alleviate neck pain. I fall asleep on it, middle of night I remove it. Note, it is not soft and cozy, it is hard plastic/rubber with a cloth (not machine washable); chiropractor recommended this (was going to charge me $$$$ for it too!); most people can only withstand short durations on it. Anytime I feel pain, this corrects it. I have not utilized the heat/timer feature but I'm sure it would be amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this neck roll to correct neck pain and posture as it stretches the neck and relieves pain/tension.

Bought for my boyfriend who has a lot of neck pain due to a childhood break, it helps on his really rough days get him back to baseline. He cannot sleep on it because he just prefers to lay differently while sleeping but during the day if he is in a lot of pain it helps him stretch out and release some tension.

I was excited to be offered a chance to review this product because I had recently been rear-ended and suffered neck pain. (please talk to your doctor about any medical concerns, my chiropractor approved the use of this for me in tandem with his adjustments).It is a very straight-forward design, with only two buttons--one for time and one for heat level. You have three settings for both (10, 20, 30 mins and low, med, high) and if you like it hot, put it on high! For the most part I've kept it on medium or low but a few times high was really comforting.The unit can be used in two directions that feel slightly different on the neck, so you may find one direction more comfortable. It has a bit of give which makes it feel very sturdy but not too firm. The exterior cover is soft and unzips if you ever need it to.It plugs into a USB port, which gives you a lot of options for plugging it in. All parts of it seem to be really excellent quality.If you're looking for something to really heat up your neck and give you some relaxation, this item could be for you.

I will own that I didn't read the description very well. So that is my advice to you before you buy it. Because the pictures that show it being used without the cord are not true.This device only operates if it's plugged in. You can't charge it and then use it elsewhere. You have to stay close to an outlet. And make sure the outlet is on the same side as the plug port in the device, or you will find yourself being strangled by the cord.That said, it does warm well and the angle is great for stretching my neck after being all day in front of the computer.

I am not one to get headaches, but for several weeks I had tightness through my shoulder and neck, resulting in persistent shoulder/neck pain and headaches. I have been using this for a couple of weeks off and on and it has helped a lot. I didn't use the heat setting the first time. I just put it down and laid on it for maybe three minutes. I'm impatient. I don't want to lay around for ten minutes at a time. Those few minutes made a difference. Now I have used it with the heat setting and for about five minutes on a few occasions. The headache is gone and the tightness through my neck and shoulder is greatly reduced. As someone else pointed out, the highest heat setting is HOT, so I don't put it on the highest setting. I use either low or no heat at all.

I primarily use it at 10-20 mins intervals varying between Med and High Heat settings. The contour shape of the neck stretcher mimics the proper alignment of how your neck and spine should align. When I lie on the floor I can work on my chin tuck exercises while the heated neck stretcher keeps my neck muscles warm and loose allowing me to maximize my motions.The timer on the stretcher operates as advertised, and the magnetic fabric that covers the neck stretcher isn’t itchy to my skin and keeps my neck connected to the stretcher.Im sure like any device you can find a hiccup of some sort to prevent this device from being a 5 star but I can say with certainty that you will get your money’s worth instantly having this device. For the money spent one of the better items Ive purchased through Amazon. Kudos to Gadole!
