An audible improvement
This was my first time upgrading a power cable above stock. I was a skeptic, and didn't expect to hear an audible difference, especially at the low price. I was wrong, and very pleasantly surprised! When I connected this cable to my Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies headphone amp I immediately noticed a fuller, richer low end. The stock tubes of the Fireflies aren't all that tubey" sounding, and this power cable helps bring out that warm bottom end most people associate with tubes.Your mileage may vary, depending on what gear you use it with. I'd heard from a reliable source that the Fireflies responds well to power cable upgrades, and it sure seems to like this one! I doubt you'd get any worse performance from this cable than stock, but you may or may not hear a difference.Keep in mind this is a very stiff and heavy cable. The construction seems to be off very high quality. Both terminations make very tight connections. The stiffness makes it easy to route the cable in a way that doesn't produce strain on the gear's power socket, but can make it hard to work with if you need to get it behind an object.I'd you are curious about upgrading your power cable this is a great place to start. It can make a real audible difference, and if it doesn't for you it'll at least satisfy your curiosity at a fraction of the cost of a boutique cable. My signal chain:Furman power conditioner, Woo Audio WA7 Fireflies (stock tubes), Meze Empyrean II.

TOP NOTCH HIFI POWER CORD
These are great heavy AWG cables, I wish we had them available 15 years ago when I bought a dozen Audioquest and PS Audio giant power cords for amps and subs. I took one and swapped the amp end for a 20 amp connector by the same company I think. Works great on my big Krell power amp and looks way cooler than the boring 20 amp not-hip-at-all power cord that came with it. There's no evidence power cords improve the sound quality but when they are this affordable, why not deck out your whole system. Some with a different sheath cost a little more but I examined them closely and there's no difference. Zeos Pantera had these on his review channel a few time so I gave one a shot then ordered many more. These are the equal of any 10 gauge power cord you'll find and some of those run well over $300 for the same length. Another cool aspect is they only charge about a buck or two for each larger size, compared to what other boutique scam companies charge in the US. Audio guru Amir at ASR peeled open several expensive power cords revealing they were simply these or straight generic SOOO cord that you find on the wheel at Lowes/ Home Depot. Highly recommended. Same goes for their lighter AWG power cords for components, they are very good quality also.

They actually work! I didn't want to believe it..
I can't believe I'm actually writing this. I have always scoffed at power cables. I still scoff at very expensive ones. Anyway, I have not tried the cables directly out of the wall. I had already purchased a Furrman Elite 15 DMi a while back. That's a mid range power conditioner. I didn't really notice too much difference with just the conditioner. After I added in these power cables though, I did notice a difference. I only gave them 4 stars because they are so heavy and stiff. They bend surprisingly well, but they will not twist. You don't think about cable twist until have ones that won't. So, routing is a bigger chore and I suppose they could strain the sockets on your gear. That's the short version...I am a headphone guy. I listen on my computer. My equipment at the time of installing the cables was this: A Denafrips Venus II DAC, Topping A90 Solid state amp and an Audiovalve Solaris tube amp. My phones are Audeze LCD-4.The difference was not night and day by any means, but my solid state equipment did benefit from them. After installing the cables, I quickly noticed that the gap in performance between my small solid state amp and my big tube amp, was smaller than before. The solid state had more depth and presence. I couldn't decide if the tube amp actually felt a little stuffy, or just didn't benefit as much and my expectations were playing tricks on me, when ABing the two amps. The tube amp sounds great still, so I expect it is the later. It stands to reason that the small amp had more to gain, as higher end amps have more more robust internal power supplies.A bit later, I also brought out my old Audio-gd NFB-10SE. Solid state, class A DAC/amp. This was my first 'high end' amp and I always loved the signature. I had only upgraded out of it in search of more resolution. Through a few different iterations of electronics, I felt that I had achieved higher resolution with each upgrade. However, with the power conditioner and the cables together, that unit no longer seemed to lose out in resolution against my current setup. In fact, with the improved resolution, I enjoyed the signature so much, that I decided to try some newer Audio-gd gear.I now I have an Audio-gd R1 DAC and Master 19 amp. Together, these are both still less expensive than the Venus, which I am going to sell. The Solaris stays. The moral of the story: You may have decent electronics and like the overall signature, but maybe want more of the same out of an upgrade. If this sounds like you, than pin down your power delivery before spending a lot of money on super high end stuff. If you don't like the over all signature of your system, then this won't change that. In my case, I had a wonderful DAC, but it's signature left me wanting for slightly more forward vocals and strong, low bass. Everything else it did was excellent, but those things are super important. Upgrading my power allowed me to rediscover my old gear and move forward on the right foot this time. All this said, I have a very hard time believing that a cable can do the job of a power conditioner, as some expensive cable makers claim. If you do already have a power conditioner, then I can absolutely get behind the logic of making sure nothing happens to that power before it goes into your system. It's worked for me, at least! I haven't tried ABing with plugging straight into the wall. That will offer no protection against a surge. If you do not have a decent power conditioner, I would probably get that first. Especially if you need a handful of power cables like I did.

Doubter
I always doubted that an expensive well-built power cable would make any difference. After all, why would the last 1 meter make a difference? I don't know if the cable changed the sound quality in the way some others said because I haven't done any blind A/B testing but it seemed to lower the noise floor in my system and it eliminated a slight transformer buzz I had in a tube amp. It went from barely audible to inaudible. This alone was worth the cost and indicates some benefit. For what these cost, try them and see what you think.

Audiocrast HPC01 HiFi Power Cable 10AWG 125V 15A
Good looking cable looks strong. A lot better cable that come with amps. But the c13 female connector going to my AV receiver do not fit tight. Connector is really wobbly, maybe i got a bad cable. So that's why I only give 3 star rating. And I don't have the time to look for a UPS store to send back and get a exchange cable. I'm very disappointed.

Cable de qualité impressionnante
J'ai été agréablement surpris quand j'ai ouvert la boîte. Le câble est vraiment gros avec des connecteurs en cuivre massifs et bien assemblé.
