Non-Inflatable-Durability-Value, However?
I really like these boat fenders, the price was good and I should get many years of use out of them for my 17’ skiff however, the instruction sheet I received showed the following WARNING (in part) - “For day use only. Never use fender for long-term mooring or boat storage”. This warning was not shown on their advertisement.I’m aware the boat moves with the tide when docked and that’s understandable and you need to relocate your fenders accordingly when needed. Why is the warning for “Day Use Only”? Should I not use these fenders if I dock my boat overnight? This doesn’t make sense to me as these are rugged fenders and in my opinion are more durable and would be longer lasting than the inflatable ones. I’m glad I bought them and I have confidence they will protect my boat and would rate them a 5 star product if it wasn’t for the confusing “Day Use Only” Warning, thus the 3 star rating. Maybe the company can offer an explanation to us?I see no reason why I can’t dock my boat overnight with these very nice fenders and I plan to do so, and when I do I will check the next morning to make sure my boat didn’t sink :)I highly recommend these fenders and would buy them again despite the warning.

Very Durable!
I ended up using these at the dock in front of the bait shop. I used zip ties to secure them. These are very durable and look good. Mostly small boats visit this dock and I mounted the higher for high tide and use other below them for lower tide levels. Great value for these.

High Abrasion-resistant Fenders!
The two-pack of OBCURSCO Boat Fenders / Bumpers with Fender Lines for Docking arrived promptly and were just as described online. Detailed instructions are thoughtfully included with the set. Although the boat fenders are solely recommended for docking pontoon, bass and jon boats from 15’ to 25’, they have uses elsewhere. These well-made fenders are ideal for going through boat locks. Several times a year, we transit boat locks in Virginia, North Carolina and Florida. In boat locks, you have to tie up against tall, rough, concrete walls. The tough, marine grade OBCURSCO fenders can stand up to this high abrasion situation much better than weak, inflatable fenders. The Lock Master adjusts the water level by sequentially opening and closing the gates at each end of the lock, allowing the water level to rise and fall. Fenders rub against the concrete lock walls as the water level inside the lock changes. Tough fenders protect the boat from damage.Easy to use, the fenders can be hung either vertically or horizontally with the included 79” long and strong, double-braided 3/8” nylon fender lines. These rigid, abrasion-resistant fender pads are also ideal to use on boat lifts and to prevent anchor chain abrasion on boats.Last I looked, traditional vinyl inflatable fenders are not cheap and they don’t last long. Susceptible to heavy use and UV sun damage, they have short lives. Today, 4 vinyl inflatable boat fenders with lines cost $161 on Amazon (with 3 yr warranty). This is about $80+ for two. That’s essentially the price of these more durable fenders @ 2 for $90, that have added UV sun protection.Enjoy!Highly Recommended.

Soft, non barring, won't hurt the finish
Holes do not pass all the way thru so you have to tie it weird. It would have been so much better if the side holes had another hole in the center on the back. Made so it will not scracth up the boat or jet ski. Lightweight but strong

New design, works well.
Cool new design, the two of these take up the same amount of room as an old school round one. They protect our boat and I would recommend!

Hard rubber.
Wondering what is EVA foam? Well it feels like a hard rubber. It might be soft enough to protect the boat from damage but I think I want it to be a bit softer.

Needed these
As you can see from the photos, the padding around my slip has been beaten up by my boat during windy weather. I need something in between to protect both my boat and the dock and these fit the bill. I just roped them on to my dock cleats so they'll be a permanent fixture there for the season and one set of bumpers hanging off the side of my boat now as these took their place.
