Ruark R3S Wireless Music System - Walnut

I have a pair of the Ruark MR1 Mk2 speakers that I use as computer speakers - very satisfied with them. I am going to be moving soon to a smaller property and don't really want my existing hi-fi set up to dominate the new living room. Very satisfied with the R3S. It creates a spacial sound far greater than its width and its connectivity is wonderful. Just a little guidance from the manual on the use of rotary selector and it was easy to set up. On setting up DAB radio, I noticed that BBCR3 Unwind wasn't on the list. Found out it's 'BBC Sounds only'. All I had to do was Bluetooth my phone and iPad to the RS3 - and was able to play BBC Sounds with no problem at all. The CD player is useful to have, won't see a huge amount of use from me. There is an 'OK' hand controller, but you can also download the RS3 compatible Oktiv app - which I now have on the phone. It works really well - easy to access internet, DAB and FM radio and streaming services. Incredibly versatile, great sound, what's not to like?!

I've had this fantastic piece of stand alone hifi for quite some time. It's incredibly simple to set up and use. I have recently added the Ruark subwoofer which really elevates the sound to a whole new level. A number of reviewers have mentioned the price and whilst somewhat expensive, quality of this nature does come with a corresponding price tag. I have no personal connection with Ruark and can sincerely recommended these products without hesitation.

This is a good looking audio system. The sound is of a high quality. Very easy to operate. Love the simple treble and bass control rather than having an equaliser. Easy link up to my Spotify. Have my Fluance rt82 turntable linked up to it. My vinyl sounds so good through the speakers. I would highly recommend this audio system.

Good looking and well built, hopefully in UK. Bought for its CD music playing ability; this is good. However I have several science degrees yet I am totally unable to follow instructions to set up the Radio side of the machine. The instruction are complex IT "gobbledegook". Why can't these people write straight forward English for ordinary citizens

I bought this to replace a very ancient Bose Wave radio and I'm very pleased with it. It looks great, sounds great, and provides just about everything one could need. I also considered the Denon N11 which is currently much cheaper, but it has separate speakers so takes up more space. I think investing in the RS1 sub woofer may be worthwhile, but as I'm old and deaf, I no longer consider myself a good judge of HiFi sound. Anyway, the R3S suits me very well and is one of, if not the best replacement for Bose Wave products.

Read the manual until you get the input right to use a myriad of radio cd and other audio sources

Ein super All-in-one radio mit cd und internetradio, fm und dab+, einzig tidal support wird vermisst...schade, aber über bluetooth funktiiniert auch tidal ohne probleme. Die Audioqualität ist ausgezeichnet! Werde sicherlich viel spass mit diesem gerät haben.
