I am 54, and when I was a kid, from time to time my mom would buy Colgate tooth powder, so I remember the feeling of using that over a standard paste. In the last year, we have gone completely fluoride free at our house, but even the OTC options without fluoride have a long list of other toxic ingredients. I found this powder, and with such a great price, decided "why not?". When I tell you this stuff feels amazing, I am telling you that it is light, not at all chalky, and has such a delightful, yet not overpowering minty flavor. I have sensitive teeth, and since using this, not only have my teeth been much less sensitive, but there were times maybe once or twice a week, I would see pink when I spat....Not with this powder!!! It has healed any light gum bleeding I had from time to time, and my teeth feel so INCREDIBLY squeaky clean! It seems like I have hardly made a dent in this since it was purchased, so I know that it is far more cost effective than store bought paste, and BONUS!!! Its all natural! Make the switch..You'll love that fresh smile feeling!!!

I cannot recommend this tooth"paste" enough! I grind my teeth at night and cannot tolerate a mouth guard, so my teeth are always very sensitive. Using this product has been so helpful for that, I am assuming because of the "remineralizing"! I have tried not using it because of money issues, but even just using it twice a week has helped keep sensitivity and achiness down significantly. I will be purchasing it for the third time just because of this. Also, it does seem to whiten my teeth, avid coffee drinker that I am! Taste is fine, and yes, it is chalky, but all the better for cleaning, my dear!

This reversed a cavity in one month! I was scheduled to come in to have a cavity filled one month from my visit. I ordered and began using this product ASAP. When I went in to have the cavity filled, it was GONE! The dentist was in shock. She couldn’t figure out why she asked me to come in. 8 months later at my follow-up today, the cavity is still gone and no others have formed. Tastes great. Clean and fresh. Worth it!

I haven't had a dental checkup since I've ordered this but I have noticed that my teeth are more sensitive to warm/cold foods and drinks. They also ache more. I'm concerned these don't build up a protective layer around my enamel, but that could just be the lack of fluoride (which I was trying to get away from).It's a very functional product that tastes very great. The labels turn to mush the instant the item gets wet. It doesn't bother me, but it seems that the seller would want a label people could read. If I had a guest over that was in my bathroom then they would have no item what the jar contained. Maybe try a laminated label, not paper?I haven't noticed the concerns of some other posters. There are no lumps in the power after many uses. It strongly binds to a wet toothbrush. Also, with the thickness of the paste and turning from grindy power to a thinner consistency, you really have to brush for at least a minute. So, it is an interesting way of making sure you brush your teeth long enough without having to use a timer.Because this is a small business I'll rate it higher at four stars. I'll update after my next dental visit.

Love the flavor. Love how well it cleans my teeth and makes my mouth feel refreshed. Same clean and taste you use to get with vintage tooth power without all the chemicals.

I’ve been looking for an alternative replacement for toothpaste for awhile now. There’s not a whole lot that I could find that seemed actually beneficial for oral health.I just want to list the ingredients to help understanding of what it does focused on dental health:Bentonite Clay: helps remineralize your teeth and enhances overall oral health, it even helps eliminate the fluoride in tap water.Calcium Carbonate: helps whiten teeth, remineralize, and restores the calcium lost.Birch Xylitol: Boost dental health and prevent tooth decay. Xylitol actually kills off the harmful bacteria.Magnesium Citrate: helps fight inflammation, improve bone health (also tons of other benefits outside of dental health if you look into it)**Himalayan Salt: It's believed to strengthen tooth enamel, whiten teeth, decrease plaque, and stave off gum disease.Peppermint Essential Oil: This is for flavoring.Factually, these are all great ingredients, they do well and all work together simultaneously. If you understand minerals and vitamins they absorb a certain way. The calcium and salt help the other minerals do this.**this is my opinion here:The only real issue I have is the Himalayan salt, and the reason why is because I’m not actually certain where it is sourced. There’s been an uptick in Himalayan mining, which means the minerals that are supposed to be getting extracted aren’t coming from the vein because it’s being made produced. (I use Celtic Salt due to the 82 other minerals in it) this isn’t to say the salt they’re using it isn’t good, I just don’t know where it’s sourced exactly.Anywho, I also switched out my plastic toothbrush for a natural toothbrush (made to help sea turtles, but the best is with boar hair) after the first day of using it twice a day, I noticed a huge difference in my oral health. I get excited to brush my teeth, my teeth are already noticeably whiter and feel a lot better and cleaner all the time. You know that weird slimey feeling at the end of the day you get, IT DOESNT HAPPEN. Like I said this is my favorite brand of all time and I’ve been telling everyone about it. It’s definitely worth every penny and it’s not expensive because it will last a while.Regardless, do what you want, but I highly recommend this product.

I really wanted to love this toothpaste. It is all natural & vegan, which is important to me. The toothpaste tastes good & cleans well. The problem is that it has caused my teeth to become sensitive. Unfortunately, I have enamel loss from teeth grinding & an ingredient(s) is making my teeth ache. It's not the company's fault. I believe it is a good product, but it's just something I cannot use.
