Great device with useful features
Absolutely delighted with this device. The features are brilliant. I have no idea why other docking stations don't have a built-in hub, but they should! Including a charging port is a strike of genius! AND it's still usable as a data port! Obviously, I'm very happy with this thing. :DI'm using this docking station with a laptop that only has a single USB 3 port. I was going to buy a USB 3 hub 'and' a HDD dock, but then I found this device. It was 'everything' I wanted in a single device and it's very compact. This device is of plastic construction and has a decent build quality. It won't blow you away but it feels robust enough to survive normal usage. If you have 2 or more hard drives attached (if you connect more via the hub), it appears as individual drives on the computer. This is extremely useful for file transfers and backups. There's 2 features that is missing, UASP, which can provide "up to" 70% faster HDD performance over USB 3, and Sata 3 (6gbps). Both missing features would significantly impact performance if you intend to use SSDs regularly with this docking station. However, other products that have these, lack the hub feature. For me the hub and charging feature outweighed the bump in performance as I'm just using average hard drives. For less than £10 you can buy a USB 3 to Sata 3 adapter with UASP and you could attach it to the hub of this device to use. So, it's really not a big issue.Overall, I think this is a fantastic device with really useful features. I would thoroughly recommend this to others.I hope you found this review useful. That aside it's an excellent product and has 3 useful USB ports as well
Not sure how well the one touch cloning system works - it didn't for me, but I may have done that wrong. That aside it's an excellent product and has 3 useful USB ports as well. It doesn't seem too solid, so probably not for heavy use, but as a personal backup station and domestic disk-cloning solution it works well. I used Paragon Disk Management software to clone a 250TB drive accurately in <3 hours. It does what I want it to do and is reasonably priced into the bargain.

I looked at this product for two reasons, firstly I wanted to setup a low-cost large-volume raid 1 storage and, secondly, to attache a number of usb 3 disks that I had acquired over recent years. This fitted the bill perfectly, dropped in a couple of 4tb 3.5 inch drives and used Mac OSX to create the software Raid 1 - works flawlessly. The three USB ports now have a further 5tb hanging off them (2 * 2tb and 1 * 1tb) giving total storage of 9tb.Delivery was prompt and well-packaged. Operation was intuitive and straightforward. Cloning works as expected. Just need to buy another couple to tidy up my disk collection.

Cheap and Nasty
The unit was functional for 15 minutes before the power supply failed.

Worked fine for 18 months, now dead
For the first 18 months, this worked fine and was very useful for connecting bare drives. But then the power unit failed.I bought a replacement power unit, and it worked again for a few months, but now it only works with USB2 ports on my computer, not USB3.

A worthwhile piece of kit
I bought this to replace a similar docking station which only had room for one hard drive and was limited to 3Tb discs (or maybe I misunderstood the comments on that docking station as 3Tb were as far as affordable technology went at the time). With 4Tb inside my machine and 2.25Tb hanging off the machine from the rear USB ports, I still don't have enough space to back up everything. What doesn't get backed up by Windows back gets backed up manually onto hard drives ripped from the guts of machines past their sell-by dates, as well as a couple of bare hard drives bought instead of expensively packaged external hard drives.I've not tried the off-line clone function, simply because it's something I don't see myself needing. Writing to two drives at once produced a respectable 35 to 40 Mb/s transfer per drive, with about 70 to 80Mb/s when writing to just one drive. A charging only USB port on the front is handy, freeing up a USB port that otherwise would be dumbly charging an mp3 player of a phone, and as a bonus there are two USB3 ports - an advantage when many cheaper PCs only have one USB3 port. The power supply is in a separate box that the power lead plugs into, presumably so that only the power lead needs to be changed for different markets. At first I cursed the thing for having an unusually shaped "in" micro-USB port on the rear, especially when USB devices are uniform enough to make a USB charger with a number of outlets a viable option, but then it occurred to me that although the port is non-standard, a large part of it consists of empty space, thus a greater surface area for both plug and socket which will help hold the connecting lead in place.A worthwhile, reasonably future-proof solution to back-up and storage...

Good dock with nice bonus features
I have used my unit for a few months and have no complaints at all. Even at this slightly higher price for this differently branded version this is a great dock. It is fast (USB3.0 consistently transfers files at over 100mB a second). The 3x USB3.0 port hub with 1x fast charging port are genuinely useful desk level accessory ports. The build quality is pretty good & the footprint is small. The clone function works brilliantly for archiving - but hasn`t been 100% reliable for me when cloning boot drives to new high capacity replacements. Recommended
