This is a great product. Works so well on my area rugs and carpet. I have a Labrador that loves to play and roll on the rugs rubbing in her fur. I use it first and then vacuum. There is very little fur left in the vacuum canister. The handle is sturdy and a good length.

While I don't have any pets, I shed like a golden retriever. This rake pulled enough hair out of my carpet that made me question if I am balding in my 20s. While it does not glide across the carpet like it shows in the videos, it still gets the job done. I highly recommend this if you're living in a household with girls because this will do wonders for your carpet. The picture is what I pulled up just from my small bedroom. Some of the plastic pieces don't stay well like the nob on the end of the handle, so I recommend taking that off while suing it, but it pops right back on when storing the rake.

I have two cats that shed seasonally, Spring, Fall, all holidays, all birthdays. I suspect you understand what I am saying.Pros- I got this one because of the long handle. I have a short one that I use in the car. Short strokes with moderate pressure pulls the fur/hair out of the carpet well. It also pulls up any litter the cats have carried to the carpet and anything else that is there. Pick up is easy, however there is always a little bit that is best picked up with a vacuum.Cons- the plug at the top of the handle come lose easily. This won't be a problem if you don't hang on the wall or if you spot a little glue on the plug.Overall I am pretty happy with this. I only dinged it because the end cap came off once. If you have an unused broomstick you might try it as this stick, while long enough, is not as long as a broom stick, you still have to bend over a little. It is effective on the carpet in my car, too. If you have an SUV this is really good at cleaning the cargo area, not just for animal fur.

Recently I visited my son who has two cats---one which sheds A LOT. He has a loft apartment and the cats roam freely throughout both levels. I originally got the rake to get rid of the cat hair that was all over one of his loveseats, because I hated looking at it and refused to sit on it. I had tried removing the cat hair with just the vacuum cleaner hose/brush, but it just would not come off. So, I used this carpet rake and went over the entire loveseat. It loosened up every bit of the cat hair so that I was able to easily remove it. Plus, it didn't damage the loveseat fabric at all. Then, even though I had already vacuumed the carpet, I decided to go over it with the carpet rake just to see if I could bring any more cat fur up. Oh my goodness! Even after vacuuming, this carpet rake brought up gobs of cat hair out of the carpet. I raked the fur into small piles and then simply picked it up and threw it away. Then I did a refresh vacuuming afterwards. My son was stunned at how much cat hair came out of the carpet, even though he vacuums it regularly. Bonus: this carpet rake also helps loosen up any matting in the carpet and gives it a freshened up look. It also helps loosen up and bring up any debris that has worked its way deep into the carpet. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this carpet rake to anyone who has cats or dogs that shed their fur. You will be amazed at the amount of fur and debris this rake will loosen up out of your carpet.

Hair removal. Very fantastic just believe the stick is to weak to sustain the raking you require. Those old wood stick support would make this amazing

With two dogs daily vacuuming is a must. However, I was still noticed fur sitting on top of my carpet. This little rake is easy to use and pulls out all that trapped in dog hair. It has definitely lessened than the workload on my vacuum.

The media could not be loaded. This works great after vacuuming. I have a cat and 2 dogs so this helps. I do wish the price was more affordable for what it is though.

The media could not be loaded. There isn't much to say about this. It's a carpet rake to pull fur out of your carpets. It works extremely well, takes minimal effort, and is overall extremely satisfying to use.My only gripe with this is that the included handle feels a "bit" flimsy, like it's going to snap. This is simply because the handle is shipped in pieces to save on shipping/packaging. Totally understandable.I've only used this once so far, and it's held up. In reality, it's the head of the rake which I bough, which also fits on any standard broom handle which you can get at any Dollarama, Dollar Tree, or just about any other dollar store for a couple of bucks, in the event that the included one does not last.The head of this rake is quite solidly built, and should last for quite a while. Do yourself a favour, and if you own pets which shed, and carpets, buy this rake. You will not regret it!5/5 stars, even despite the flimsy feeling handle (which I remind you, has held up so far...)[EDIT] - November 12, 2024.The handle is actually a fair bit stronger than originally thought. It's held up quite well for daily use so far. The small black tip at the end of the handle continues to pop off, but this is extremely minor. In addition, it was tested using a handle from a dollar store, but the threading are NOT the same so this is not an actual option as originally suggested. This means that if the included handle fails, you may have a difficult time finding a replacement.

I absolutely loved this product. I would vacuum and vacuum with a good Dyson vacuum, yes it would get some of the dog hair and would look semi clean but it wouldn’t get all of it out from the carpet. After I used this product it was like I had brand new carpet!! It gets all the hair out of the carpet and even dust/dirt/sand etc, I have two dogs a golden retriever and German shepherd and a ragdoll cat so lots of hair gets shed and it doesn’t miss any of it. It’s so easy and effective to use, I couldn’t recommend this product more!!

Love the rake, it’s size, and easy use with or without the handle. Works great for our Samoyed hair. Amazing how much hair our Dyson (best vacuum ever) still leaves behind.

I’ve owned this thing for less than a day and I wanted to review and mention how awesome it is. I can’t believe the amount of hair it brings out of the carpet.Would be 5 stars if the attaching pieces were a bit more solid. I put it on an old broomstick with screw attachment and it worked better.We vacuum often and I still raked an insane amount of pet hair off the carpets and rugs. Great product!
