Having just received the suit, all I can comment on is the fit, right now. I bought it because normally, I don't wear swim suits or other clothing while swimming or paddle boarding, but sometimes it's appropriate. I'm usually a 34 waist, but going by that commonly results in tight fitting clothing. I bought the XL and it fits appropriately. I'll probably be compelled to wear it later, in the summer, and at least it will fit nice.

I have bought swimsuits for $100+ that don't fit as well as this one. It looks good, and there are a number of styles. I returned one that had the word of the brand displayed across the front that I didn't care for, so I got this rainbow-block (my term) style, and I love it.

The size was spot on and is very comfortable to wear, I love these swim trunks and will order again in the future.
