The best annual out there for ship modeling. Multiple subjects in each issue. recommended for the serious modeler of all kinds of ship modeling.

This is an excellent book. A must read for anyone interested in scale ship models. Get also the 2010, 11, and 12 volumes.

Great books, beautifully printed, astounding subject matter.

I am a complete amateur but have scratch built two boats courtesy of Dynamite Payson. Imagine my disbelief at what is possible when I received Shipwright 2013. It is discouraging in some ways in that I now know what is required to be a really good scratch builder. The upside is that I now have a benchmark. If anyone wants to see what is possible this is the place to look.

Of little practical use to the average modeler , with the exception of James Pottingers modelers draught , which is of the usual high standard. In the Editorial the Editors seem pleased with the articles enclosed in the Annual , which is strange as they are of little use to the practical modeler. The format of the Annual would be better going back to Magazine format , with the inclusion of additional modelers draughts.(4). The annual in its present form is over priced , and it is only the offers available on Amazon which make it viable.
