Is there a pocket on the irreversible sherpa side too?

No, there is no pocket on the inside. Only has the one on the outside.

It really depends on how tall the person is wearing it. On an average 5 foot 5 person, it would hit right about the knees. Honestly, my daughter wears hers all.....the.....time!
