Nothing grew.
My 6 year old great nephew and I planted these seeds together. He was so eager for these seeds to grow! I was also. We were both sad and disappointed when nothing grew. He has decided that he does not want to try again. I'll try to change his mind after his 7th birthday.

Nice side seeds slow to grow due to think skin seed but can’t wait for them to grow up

A complete failure!
What a joke. 5 weeks in my starter mix, in small individual 2" pots. Nothing, not one seed germinated! A complete waste of money.

Not all viable
Only 3 of the 5 seeds I got have bloomed. I followed the directions, as in I scored them all and left them in a cup of warm water overnight. The ones that bloomed are doing well. So, 40% are duds.

I flowed the instructions to a t. And it’s been over 8 weeks & nothing. I am truly disappointed

Not bad 3 out of 5 so far
Edit- 2 different plant apps identify this plant as Indian shot canna. So far 4 of the 5 came up. I put in fridge overnight, then soaked in water for 8-10hrs. I used a seed grower with light. Took almost a month for anything to pop up. Anytime you use seeds it’s a gamble. I am very happy that 3 out of the 5 came up. I just transplanted the 3. Hoping the other 2 might come up too. If not I’m still happy.

Did not grow
First it would have been nice if they actually included some sort of instructions and what you should do. I looked up online and followed some suggestions I found there. First I soaked the seeds for a week in a high humid environment. Then planted all the seeds in fresh plant soil. I kept the small containers covered with plastic wrap to keep the humidity inside. But unfortunately nothing ever sprouted. The seeds had a very hard husk around it and I read sometimes it's even good to sandpaper it down some so I did that as well tried the whole procedure again and still nothing happened. Don't know of the likelihood of the seeds actually growing for people, but for me they were a Christmas present to my wife and were disappointment.
