These are great and I will buy them again!I have never used Anderson Powerpole like connectors before so newbies should learn that you must FIRST assemble them in order for them to connect - When these first arrived - I was a little frustrated because they didn’t!I did not use a special crimper and soldered the contact at the wire tip end (this keeps the stranded wire flexible just before the crimp). Works great. A small jewelers screwdriver can be used to disassemble the contacts.A drop of super glue secures the housings together instead of using pins (no pins come with these). A drop of hot glue where the wire enters the housing helps seal and secure the wire / touch up the hot glue with a heat gun to flow the glue into the housing. Be careful not to flow the hot glue into the contact. This makes reusing the housing difficult.These are easy to disconnect/pull apart so you can use some electrical tape or a zip tie to keep them connected.

You should know that this batch is not compatible with standard Anderson Powerpole connectors. They neither mate on the side (pair) nor mate straight in with standard Anderson Powerpole connectors. They are defective. As you should know the advantage of these kinds of connectors is their universality/interconnectivity.I attempted to install one contact into one red housing but it would not mate with an existing black Anderson Powerpole housing neither by the side nor front to front. I then tested all the others and found that neither the black nor the red housings will fit. There is an obstruction preventing full engagement.I say this after putting together hundreds of Anderson Powerpoles for my own radios and electronic equipment as well as for go-kits and equipment installed by our radio club at various communications hubs in our community. I can’t claim that I have never botched a couple of crimps, but this is not the case with this defective batch. Please check with your quality control manager.

Anderson power poles are great connectors. They make power connections quick and reliable. Installing the connectors to the power cable is not as great, however. My biggest complaint with them is seating the wires into the connectors. Pressure must be applied to the wire to insert it inside the connector. Many times the wire bends under that pressure before it is seated. It takes several attempts before the wire seats. Once the wire is seated you have an excellent connection.

I’m using these for quick disconnects in an electronics lab. They work. A bit harder to insert the contacts into the housings than with other brands, but if you make sure the crimp is clean and narrow, this is a minor headache.Probably won’t buy these again, but that’s just because I use them enough to make it worth buying more expensive ones. I would recommend if your on a budget and these are the cheapest option. As I said, they work.

These connectors are 100% compatible with Anderson power-pole connectors. because they seem to be made of a cheaper grade of plastic, perhaps with more fillers in it and less resin. The wall thickness also seems a bit thinner as well. Plastic shells will interlock like the Anderson power poles will oh, but they will not stay engaged, and must be super glued in place. The electrical contacts are tinned copper and are of good quality.

Looks like power poles, Smells like PowerPoles, but they are not, the bodies are not compatible due to slight size difference and they cannot be mixed other than connected two, I.E Power Pole connector will not lock in these even though they are very close

I am using the heck out of these. Make sure you have the proper crimper for what is called Anderson connectors. This size is 30A size.

No stars at all. Been using powerpoles for years. They appear not to connect to the ones I have or even each other.

Llevo mucho tiempo utilizando conectores powerpole auténticos con resultados excelentes, como necesitaba mas conectores y debido al estado de cuarentena que estamos sufriendo en lugar de comprarlos a Wimo en Alemania compre estos aquí en Amazon porque en una semana los tenia en casa.El producto es malo, el plástico de la carcasa de mala calidad, ensamblan mal entre ellos, al intentar introducir el terminal de cobre ya crimpado en la carcasa resulta casi imposible, no entra bien, se han roto varios terminales, los que he logrado tras mucho esfuerzo y tiempo poner bien tienen holgura y baila el terminal dentro de la carcasa plástica. no he devuelto el producto por no salir de casa a correos por la situación que estamos, perola verdad es que tenia que haberlo hecho.

Conoscevo già questo tipo di connettori: dove non è necessaria l'impermeabilità sono molto più pratici dei connettori automotive.Crimpatura (con la pinza adatta) e inserimento nel corpo a prova di errore. Ottimi modularità e accoppiamento.Prezzo dell'assortimento molto buono e consegna precisa, come sempre con Amazon Prime.
