Irish SetterMen's Ashby Construction Shoe

I ordered these because I am familiar with the brands fitting and they make good work boots. I was pleasantly surpised with the boot's width and they are ridiculously comfortable. These are my go to boots for walking the dogs in deep snow or wetconditions.

I could not tell you how good of a boot this is because I couldn’t get my foot in them. No matter how hard I tried, my foot would not get in! I am an average build female. 5”6, 150lbs. I do not have anything close to kankles. I do have an extra wide foot with a high instep and muscular legs. For this reason, I cannot find women’s shoes to fit me, which is why I went for this boot. A men’s wide equates to a woman’s extra wide- which is what I need. I do not understand why they would make this “athletic fit”, which is extra snug in the ankle, with a wide option.

Been wearing this style of boot for years . Very comfortable,reasonably Price . Love this boot .
