Great product. Attracts many, if not all flies to it but does a good job for a domestic item.Good value for money.

Honestly does the job very well kills moths, which is my main issue and may other bugs that end up in my room when I have the window open

Item okay, but arrived dirty and stained, which won’t rub off. obviously someone has had this before me. Disappointing!

i bought a different make when it come it didnt have replacable bulbs and didnt work it wouldnt switch on at alli sent it back and was issued a refund ... i bought this one instead it cost more but it does switch on and you can replace bulbs with 2 extra included i just got it out the box and its fine but havent had time to see how it kills bugs but its workingso it was well worth the exercise and delived by car not the van .. but theres nothing i can see broken and it came straight on and delivered the same day ! so at the moment im happy ...

Lots of flies this year. More than usual. And as our garden backs on to dairy pasture, we have had to expect flies every summer, however unpleasant. So, I hit the problem with everything I could find on Amazon. Classic Flypaper had a degree of effectiveness but is very unsightly and unpleasant to manage. We posted that updated version of flypaper everywhere - the sort that comes in the form of those sticky yellow pads and shapes that Amazon sell. And finally, I bought multiple pots of super-ninja hormone fruit fly traps also for sale on the site. Neither the sticky shapes nor the hormone traps did anything at all and were a total waste... The only thing that works is this UV electric unit. It did a great job of keeping the level of invasive winged insects (including flies) to an acceptable level (it reduces the problem by maybe 80% plus). Buy it with confidence, I would say. It works. But don't forget you WILL need to change the UV tubes once or twice a year as their UV output, which attracts the flies, fades over time.

Blew up after 2 years, other than that it was okay while it worked. £30 a year for bug zapping is probably worth it. Pretty good design, neat size, I used to work in kitchens and the bug zappers there were far more effective so I’d describe this one as average in efficacy.

Just what we wanted……….. very few flies dare to invade our kitchen now 😁
