I received them quick. they were clean did not smell like others I have bought in the past. had a good variety of sizes but I tend to keep more blue legged So they may never reach the size of 30% of the shells in this bag.

These were perfect for my hermit crabs! Recently learned they need at least 3 shells per crab in their habitat and these were inhabited within the first few days. I did boil them for 10 minutes and dry out before placing them in the enclosure and they held up just fine with no chipping or cracking. Highly recommend for this purpose as well as simple decoration, as they do possess a natural beauty.

Unlike some selections which tend to favor the hermit crab giants only, this particular selection of shells offer a good professsion of sizes allowing the salt water hermit crabs choices in gradually increasing sized shells to avoid competition between the crabs for shells.

Received shells quickly, but was unhappy with how many small shells I received, most crabs are growing bigger, and not smaller received a lot of small shells, which was useless since I was buying them to have for my saltwater crabs
