I really like this yarn. It works up beautifully as granny squares for a long scarf I'm designing. I will be able to get 5 sunflower type crochet squares from each skein. The yarn has nice stitch definition, it's soft and the colors in the skeins are stunning! I love the color change on each granny square. Great value for the price. I will buy this again!

This yarn is gorgeous and soft on my hands!I’m on my 5th Afghan (tulip) with this yarn and while it does come with a few tied knots, uneven areas, it is a wonderful blend of 30% Australian Wool and 70% Acrylic Yarn but single ply.I have used alpaca in the past on projects and it’s more expensive and has similar problems.I will purchase again!!My projects call for 5 packs of 4. That’s 20 skeins ofYarn put into my much loved family gifted blankets.Happy crocheting!!Jeanne

The color is great and it's soft. However the pattern is random and end to end doesn't match at all. Some parts were actually KNOTTED together, making it lumpy to work with. In addition, the yarn is fragile, becomes tangled easily and if you pull it separate. Will not buy again.

I bought two four-packs of this yarn to crochet a poncho as a Christmas gift to my housekeeper. The colors so remind me of her.The colors pool nicely together as you stitch along. The yarn is so soft but is more wool than acrylic in the blend, because of that do wash item you make on delicate cycle - in cold water - and dry flat.

I love the color - it fades in and out of lovely purple tones. It's very soft. But ... (you knew there was a but), it splits easily. It also varies widely in thickness, which happens with yarn and really doesn't matter for what I use it. But the yarn splits (separates) and I find myself having to stop and correct it. It also has lots of loose fuzzy attachments - again, no big deal, easily cut off without damage to the yarn. But another thing to watch for and stop knitting to attend to. I would buy it again, but it would depend on the project I am making.

…but it didn’t suit my purpose, as it’s too fragile: I weave baskets with the yarn and pull it really tight; this yarn pulls apart too easily. However, for regular knitting or crochet projects, it would be beautiful.My issue with this product is due to user (my) error, not the yarn itself.

I feel so bad. I bought this beautiful yarn for a prayer shawl and I've pretty much been praying to keep my temper...it's terribly uneven. Knots. Ugh. But the most frustrating thing is the little white hairs everywhere. Looks like cat hairs. Pretty upset. Do not buy!

I was looking for a 100% wool yarn that was a little “bulkier” so I was a little worried that I would not like this blend (even though its price is so nice). No worries! It is soft and works very well. The final product has a nice luster without it looking like synthetic yarn. See picture! It also keeps you comfortable as one would expect with wool. Other reviewers noted end knots in the skeins but that happens with natural fiber yarn sometimes and in 12 skeins, I had it twice. I really don’t think this yarn has more issues than normal compared to other yarns I have worked with in my 50 years of yarn art.

This yarn is a delight to knit.

I bought this to make a small project and when it arrived I really liked the colours and the way they blended so i ended up buying more so that i could crochet a blanket

The colour is very pigmented and the yarn is soft and workable. Worth the money and will use again.

The wool is ok but not as soft as described and does split as it's single ply. It knits ok but nothing special.This is nearly £8 for a single skein and definitely isn't worth it.
